Die Fahrt hinauf zur Leiter Alm ist wirklich schön aber für ältere Leute oder Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität aber nicht zu empfehlen. Man muss regelrecht in den Korb reinspringen und oben auch wieder schnell rauskommen. Meine Mama hat sich beim Ausstieg leider leicht verletzt. A nice old basket lift. The drive up to the Leiter Alm is really nice but not recommended for older people or people with limited mobility. You really have to jump into the basket and get out quickly at the top. Unfortunately, my mom was slightly injured when she got out.

Mit voller Geschwindigkeit läuft der Korb um, die erste Passagierin läuft von ihrem Punkt an und springt auf, anschließend der zweite Passagier von seinem; der "Bahnaufseher" läuft mit und schließt hinter einem die Korbtür. Dann Ruhe, im Stehen fährt man die Strecke zwischen der Leiteralm und Vellau talwärts (oder natürlich auch aufwärts). Passt sehr gut als Abschluss einer Tour aus Vellauer Felsenweg und Meraner Höhenweg. An experience, at least for people without fear of heights. The basket rotates at full speed, the first passenger runs from her point and jumps up, then the second passenger from his; the "railway supervisor" walks with you and closes the basket door behind you. Then rest, while standing you drive the route between the Leiteralm and Vellau down into the valley (or, of course, up). Fits very well as the end of a tour of the Vellauer Felsenweg and Meraner Höhenweg.

A	AntriebimBlut on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DAS MUSS MAN ERLEBT HABEN! Nachdem ich die Leiteralm erklungen habe bin ich auf den Rückweg mit dem Lift hinab. Das tolle? Hier fährt man mit einem Korblift ins Tal. Bis zu zwei Mann passen rein. Das Erlebnis ein Spektakel, frische Luft an der Nase und einen tollen Blick ins Tal. Sollte man mal gemacht haben. YOU MUST EXPERIENCE IT! After I heard the Leiteralm I went back down with the lift. The great? Here you can take a basket lift down to the valley. Up to two men fit in. The experience was a spectacle, fresh air on the nose and a great view of the valley. Should have been done once.
m	marion uschold on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wirklich eine mega tolle Erfahrung mit dem Korblift zu fahren. Nur was für Schwindelfreie. :) In einem Korb passt man zu zweit. Allerdings fand ich ihn für 8€ pro Person etwas teuer. Für hin und Rückfahrt 11€ It was really a really great experience to ride the basket lift. Only for those with a head for heights. :) Two people fit in one basket. However, I found it a bit expensive for € 8 per person. For a return trip € 11

E	Erik Briers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watch out if you would like to use this lift! When it’s cloudy or if there is a chance of rain, these guys decide to close their service!!! If you ask a question, they are rude. Extra : This is dangerous, because you need to walk downwards and if it starts to rain during this hike, the rocks are slippery and you will fall.
