★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a charming hotel overlooking Bolzano and sounding landscapes with terrific views South and West. The hotel staff are eager to please and extraordinarily hospitable and kind. There are plenty of hiking trails surround the hotel, and the sauna and pool are a must for relaxation with a view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food in an unbelievable view. We were a large group and the hotel opened the restaurant early for us so that we could still use the cable car. All of the food was great and the lead waiter/manager was super accommodating and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spend holiday here with my wife and 1 year old son. Didn’t have lots of expectations at first but where amazed when we left! It’s a beautiful hotel with eye for style and detail, the pool and sauna are perfect for relaxing after an morning hike. The food and service are worth more then 5 stars. The best was definitely the staff and owners who made it all happen, always around when you need them but never to present. We will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh, this place! The Gasthof has a spectacular view of the mountains and easy accessible location via funicular. It is an idyllic, remarkable, and authentic place to stay in itself - and the pool and spa is sugar on top of everything else: luxurious in a non-bling, non-mainstream, but wholesome way. Staying at the Gasthof is a feast to the senses - this also includes the backpack with great lunch and wine for our hike to the top of the mountain. We are a family of four who stayed three nights in October. The owners and the staff are so kind, attentive, present, helpful, and welcoming. They even organized a fantastic birthday cake for our son, when we arrived. I felt very sad about leaving. We have promised ourselves to go back. This is a rare jewel.

You can tell this place is run with pride. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by very welcoming and helpful staff.
The room was absolutely spotless with useful items inside which included masks... slippers..... bath robes..... ear buds... shower caps.... and water. The view from the room are beautiful. It is seldom that we go to a hotel and have this feeling you are really welcome. And not just another guest. They really do make you feel very comfortable and welcome.
We opted to eat at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The food was quite unexpectedly delicious and cooked extremely well. Alcohol also very nice with a lovely selection that would most likely suit all.
We made use of the pool and sauna early in the morning at which the staff were more than happy to oblige. Which again has beautiful views a nice addition I must say.
Breakfast again was lovely and we loved that it was in a smaller part of the hotel again with views that really do make it worthwhile.
Its a nice change to see a hotel taking pride in what they do as it really shines through here at Kohlern Inn.
Thankyou for the stay. It was short but sweet.
