Unfortunately we are forced to release a negative review. We do this in the hope that management takes the right corrective measures. I do not intend to discuss the school's interesting training program, especially regarding the possibility of living together and relating to a native English teacher. Just as excellent is the structure and cleanliness. However, we had to experience great rigidity in the management of children, in particular (but not exclusively) in the management of the afternoon nap. Our daughter has never taken an afternoon nap and no guideline says that 3-4 years is necessary. I say this with full knowledge as I have a Masters in Sleep Medicine and a large part of my clinical activity is aimed at the treatment of sleep disorders. It's not nice to hear our daughter keep complaining about it even after we change schools. This makes it clear how traumatizing this problem has been, which apparently may seem small to an adult. To clash with a child for a "purely presumed need" does not seem correct to me. It seems to us correct to enter into conflict for formative or educational issues but not for this. From a prestigious school we would expect alternative solutions for children who do not need to sleep. Despite numerous discussions with the staff, it seems to us that the problem has been clearly underestimated. Hearing your daughter ask every morning to come and pick you up after lunch because the others are asleep and you don't want to sit still and do nothing is not beautiful. We hope that ours was an isolated case however we cannot be satisfied. We are sure that this positive criticism will push the teaching staff and the management to constructively re-evaluate this aspect.

Big disillusion! All seemed well and accommodating to foreigners, then when signing (and after) all formal communication was in Italian. After having been penalised for €650 for a discrepancy between their English and Italian information, they don’t even have the decency to answer to several complaints / requests. A big disillusion after having had three kids in public school which was fantastic! Don’t expect too much international organisation/attention, it’s just Italian with English advertisement. I recommend local / public schools if you prefer pedagogy and effort over profit making.
