★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since 1908 ,30 farmers decided to found a wine cooperative in the climatic health resort of Gries. 18 wine growers around the St. Magdalena hill also founded a cooperative in 1930. Both had the goal to better market the local and autochthonous wines. Today the wine cooperative consists of 224 families and a common goal: diversity, passion, enjoyment. Uniqueness and quality take time Patience is required. Thanks to the passionate dedication of the winegrowers and the land of South Tyrolean sunshine ,the high-quality grapes have ripened for months. After the grapes have all been picked by hand, the cellar and the sensitive aging of the wines begins under the watchful eye of Stephan Filippi winemaster. Highly enjoy my visit with special thanks to Manfred ??who knows about wines he's in charge of the Marketing part. Highly recommended the variety of wines . ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were 3 New Zealand girls and were lucky enough to have a wine tour with Charlotte. She was an amazing guide and fantastic person and we couldn't stop talking about the experience after we left. I fully recommend booking onto her and will hopefully be back one day!
