Visti all'opera spesso, in diverse occasioni, un paio delle quali vissute in prima persona. Ricordo in particolare quella di qualche anno fa:
chiamati per un violento attacco di panico, sono arrivati in meno di mezz'ora, anche se a me è sembrato un tempo lunghissimo. Ero in stato confusionale, ma so che hanno cercato di tranquillizzarmi in ogni modo, ( mi ero fermata sul ciglio della strada, alla rotonda per entrare in Galliate, spaventatissima per un collasso avuto durante la guida e ancora oggi l'unica spiegazione che mi do è che la mia macchinina abbia fatto tutto da sola, perché io non ricordo assolutamente nulla ).
Ad ogni modo, mi hanno trasportato al PS e credo di essermi aggrappata ad ognuno di loro, prima dopo e durante il viaggio, disperata perché non riuscivo a respirare.
Arrivati a destinazione, mi hanno spiegato che ero in iperventilazione per la forte agitazione e poco più tardi, in un momento di lucidità, quando ero ormai sul lettino in sala d'attesa, mentre mi salutavano, ho potuto notare i loro volti dolcissimi e sorridenti e le loro maglie tutte stropicciate dai miei "attacchi". Mi fecero una tenerezza incredibile.
Uomini e donne, spesso anche giovanissimi, preparati e dotati di prontezza, sangue freddo e pazienza infinita.

Seen at work often, on several occasions, a couple of which experienced firsthand. I remember in particular that of a few years ago:
called for a violent panic attack, they arrived in less than half an hour, even if it seemed like a long time to me. I was in a daze, but I know that they tried to calm me down in every way, (I had stopped on the side of the road, at the roundabout to enter Galliate, very frightened by a collapse I had while driving and still today the only explanation I give myself is that my toy car did everything by itself, because I don't remember absolutely anything).
Anyway, they transported me to the PS and I think I clung to each of them, before, after and during the trip, desperate because I couldn't breathe.
Arriving at my destination, they explained to me that I was hyperventilating due to strong agitation and a little later, in a moment of lucidity, when I was already on the bed in the waiting room, while they were greeting me, I could see their sweet and smiling faces and their shirts all wrinkled by my "attacks". They made me incredibly tender.
Men and women, often even very young, prepared and gifted with promptness, coolness and infinite patience.
