★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'istituto Professionale NON ESISTE PIÙ QUELLO RIPORTATO SULLA MAPPA È l'Istituto Comprensivo 53°Circolo Gigante-Neghelli, rappresenta LA SCUOLA del TERRITORIO, ha un indirizzo musicale ed eredita la cultura operaia propria del territorio che aveva avuto il massimo splendore con la presenza della FABBRICA (Italsider), una scuola aperta al territorio con molteplici attività extracurricolari che tendono ad integrare l'istituzione scolastica con il territorio. Di grande interesse i variegati laboratorio, di informatica, scienze, ottima sala convegni, laboratori linguistici, il salotto del pensiero, la biblioteca aperta al territorio con migliaia di libri, ma il più bello di tutti è il laboratorio di "Storia e Cittadinanza" dove oltre ad esserci decine di volumi e reperti sulla storia del quartiere vi è una grande raccolta di volumi sulle grandi guerre e sulla LOTTA PARTIGIANA E LA REDISTENZA, nonché sulle RIVOLUZIONE NAPOLETANA E SULLE QUATTRO GIORNATE DI NAPOLI. È un luogo da visitare in occasione delle innumerevoli iniziative aperte al territorio che la scuola organizza
