β β β β β Soulless bigbox supermarket. Postapocalyptic feeling inside thanks to the many dead or flickering lights and the complete absence of customers in the afternoon or natural light. Huge strips of asphalt on the sides without recognizable purpose. Uses as much space as the the the old town. Emblematic for a dying society.

β β β β β Refurbished supermarket much better than before, well stocked, very clean. Pleasure to shop there. More recently watch your bill, they are adding cost of plastic bags when I didn't have any, I always have my own bags, so fed up with the amount of plastic Italy uses for fruit and veg, meat everything, plastic cups at bars for drinks, plates and plastic cutlery ?. Cut back on the plastic please.
