w	win young on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of our regular places to have a lunch its frequented by mostly Italian professionals well dressed and groomed . You will get a great welcome too as a tourist . The menu changes daily and the portions are a good size not gut busting which is what we like . There is really good value for money with mains at 4.5 /5.5 euros . If you are in a hurry the service is brisk but we never feel rushed and often dwell with our wine on one of the street tables. Bathrooms are pristine and wheel chair accessible. It's about to be sold as the charming owner Niccolo is trying a new career . I wish him every success and he assures me the new owners are good people and the high standards and service should continue. We look forward to being loyal Customers . There is also an also la carte menu and its slightly more expensive in the evenings people watching is a great time waster. I have commented before on this l don't like the music piped out but normally you can't hear it most of the time because the restaurant is full
C	Chris Walts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you’re wandering around Catania’s streets and you want a place that makes you feel welcome this is the place to go. It’s not classic Italian food, but that’s a very good thing as it’s not like anything else you’ll have in the city. Attracting locals and tourists alike, the portions are generous, the food tasty, the wine is plentiful and the staff brilliant. What’s not to love? I’d happily go back every week.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't speak Italian, so we couldn't understand the menu. But they explained everything very detailed and very understandable. The bruschetta was amazing, you should really try this as a starter! We would recommend this place to everyone.

The owners were great and very attentive throughout our entire dining experience. Everything from our salad, main dishes, and the simple chocolate pana cotta was delicious while reasonably priced.
Y	Yvonne Landmann - Just meditate. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems to be a Newer owner/concept offering panini, grain bowls, wraps, pasta and daily specials. Besides the soup our meals got served in plastic bowls and on single use paper plates. The silver to eat and the Glas for water/ drinks has been single use plastic, too. I do not understand why a proper restaurant with such a nice interior serves in single use plastic. If this is a plastic version that can be degraded, it still is a huge amount of waste and the taste experience is limited for the senses. Food has been fresh. My vegan bowl was fresh and simple, more like a salad style and I got oil to spray as a dressing. For me it was disappointing considering that it is what they have as a main lunch dish. There is space to add more taste and love into it. I would take the soup if I could choose again. But actually I am not willing to support a restaurant that produces so much waste. Service was friendly but not warm hearted like topically experienced in Catania, menu in English available. I rate only 2 stars as the experience for me was basically only the Restaurant interiors. This place has amazing potential. Hope it will improve.

The coffee was not good as well (at least that was in real cup). This is fast food place, not a restaurant. Covid it’s not an excuse, with plastic you just don’t need to wash plates, right? :)
