G	Gianmaria Gori on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante molto particolare, si trova all'interno di una struttura carceraria, il carcere di Opera. I detenuti gestiscono il ristorante. All'ingesso del carcere un ragazzo con un'elegante divisa da cameriere, gentilmente, ti guida fino al ristorante, dove altro personale, professionalmente ti pende in carico. Ambiente moderno e elegante. Servizio rapido e professionale. Per questa lodevole e meritevole iniziativa, il carcere di Opera è sempre stato all'avanguardia, dovrei dare più di cinque stelle, purtroppo do solo tre stelle, il cibo era pessimo. Buona l'idea del piatto unico a dodici €. Purtroppo la pasta era quasi cruda, la cotoletta molto legnosa, infine il dolce, Brownies al gelato. Gelato buono, i Brownies terribili, secco e con quel inconfondibile sapore di vecchio. Altra cosa che mi è sembrata esagerata, il prezzo della grappa, sei € una grappa, di cui non mi è stato detto neppure la marca, fuori luogo. Dodici € piatto unico, prezzo valido, ma se si esce dal menù... Ci tornerei?Ni! A very particular restaurant, located inside a prison facility, the Opera prison. The inmates run the restaurant. At the entrance to the prison, a guy wearing an elegant waiter's uniform kindly guides you to the restaurant, where other staff professionally hangs over you. Modern and elegant environment. Fast and professional service. For this commendable and deserving initiative, the Opera prison has always been at the forefront, I should give more than five stars, unfortunately I only give three stars, the food was bad. Good idea of the single dish at twelve €. Unfortunately the pasta was almost raw, the cutlet very woody, finally the dessert, Brownies with ice cream. Good ice cream, terrible Brownies, dry and with that unmistakable old flavor. Another thing that seemed exaggerated to me, the price of grappa, six € a grappa, of which I was not even told the brand, out of place. Twelve € single dish, valid price, but if you leave the menu ... Would I go back?

This restaurant is inside the local jail, but guess what?... You won’t notice it inside the restaurant. It’s a really premium service.

Very nice location with ample spaces for tables that are well away from each other, so that the level of noise is surprisingly pleasant even if the restaurant is full. Very interesting and commendable project. Interesting to hear the experience directly from the manager who is also very professional and nice

T	Tina Chang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 15 euro lunch for an appetizer and main, aka a huge plate of food! Cafe/espresso included. You park outside in visitors area and go through the sign in entrance as other visitors do. After saying the name of the reservation, the jail guide will take you into the restaurant. You never enter the jail or see the inside but you dine in a space attached to it. Such a great concept! You never feel terrified or endangered. There’s one armed security guard at the front cashier and barred windows - small reminders that the staff are convinced prisoners. But other than that, you forget that you’re dining in a jail! Everyday the lunch special is the different so you never know what you are getting. The food was so fresh. The homemade bread they serve was also so scrumptious. I also met the woman who created this restaurant concept and manages the place. She is so lovely and took her time to discuss with me not only about the restaurant but also incarceration situations in US vs Italy. This places deserves even more than 5 stars for the work they are doing with these prisoners. I went by car so I’m not sure how tourists can visit but I heard there’s a metro stop nearby.

Service was great, with a sincere smile and very professional. The food amazing with a light combo of pasta and second course in the same plate, elegantly done and very tasty. Ample choices for the deserts. An additional star for the tongue in cheek decoration, with all the famous jail break movies.
