Sono ritornato in questo locale dopo qualche anno, (per colpa della pandemia,che ci ha costretto, spesso, a cambiare le nostre abitudini) ed ho ritrovato le persone che conoscevo, ma con grandi novità.
Giovanni Petruzzi, guidato dalla sua passione, insegue una sua vision che con grande determinazione e sacrificio, sta portando avanti.
Con grande attenzione alla qualità e alla territorialità dei prodotti propone con semplicità e gusto ,piatti della tradizione "Lucana".
Dai suoi racconti e approfondimenti si viene coinvolti dalla passione per il suo lavoro e i suoi piatti sono una giusta conferma.
Consiglio una visita anche allo shopping annesso alla trattoria.
Ci ritornerò con piacere.
A new experience.
I returned to this place after a few years (due to the pandemic, which often forced us to change our habits) and I found the people I knew, but with great news.
Giovanni Petruzzi, guided by his passion, pursues his vision which he is pursuing with great determination and sacrifice.
With great attention to the quality and territoriality of the products he offers with simplicity and taste, traditional "Lucana" dishes.
From his stories and insights one is involved in the passion for his work and his dishes are a fair confirmation.
I also recommend a visit to the shopping attached to the restaurant.
I will return with pleasure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are always there when we are back in Italy. Price is fair and quality is very good. Toilets are very clean and staff is friendly.
Update 2019: dining is still very good but service was getting worse. Now they forget 50% of what you order and the menu at high noon is too chaotic to understand. As said, food is still good but you have to be very patient

We tried a variety of food, penne arrabiatta, melanzane, maiale nero (black pork) and the homemade mozzarella di bufala, all of them were good! Service was great, and they made sure to check each person had a greenpass. Highly recommended!
