Superato l'originario status di fortilizio difensivo l'edificio fu affiancato da costruzioni, sfruttandone la struttura in aderenza. Il piano più elevato della torre fu adattato a piccionaia nel XVI, evoluzione d'uso del resto comune a numerosi edifici turriti.
Ancient tower of the thirteenth century, part of the wall count. Having overcome the original status of a defensive fortress, the building was flanked by buildings, exploiting the adhering structure. The highest floor of the tower was adapted to a dovecote in the 16th century, an evolution of the use common to numerous turreted buildings.
