★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ecco gli ingredienti giusti per una giornata perfetta: tanto buon cibo(risotto ai funghi porcini, tagliata di manzo con patate al forno, millefoglie con crema e fragole), ottima qualità di vino(rosso fermo San Nicola), location da favola che ricorda molto i paesi altoatesini… manca qualcosa? Ma certo! La compagnia! Quella giusta! Davvero una bellissima giornata insieme, un pranzo di ferragosto degno di nota.
Here are the right ingredients for a perfect day: lots of good food (risotto with porcini mushrooms, sliced beef with baked potatoes, millefeuille with cream and strawberries), excellent quality of wine (still red San Nicola), fabulous location that is very reminiscent the South Tyrolean countries… is something missing? Of course! The company! The right one! Truly a beautiful day together, a noteworthy mid-August lunch.

Friendly and professional managers also positive the experience menu test to be repeated even in summer. Too bad the closed pose and the lack of control of the greenpass ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Believe it or not, it was fantastic! One could argue that Ligonchio is not exactly the most recurrent name in the list of the touristic places in Italy. Fair enough. But things change, sometimes. I was there with some friends (50!) and I was the first not expecting too much from the place..., but surprisingly the Rifugio was so good! The resort is completely wooden made (abete rosso), with rooms and chalets. I was in a chalet with my family. Everything is built in harmony with the surrounding nature. In the main building where you can find the reception and the dining room was wonderful. I shared some pictures. The food excellent! The second day we also had sauna and swimming pool in the SPA...
So, if you are looking for a relaxing week (end), or you are a group looking for a quiet place where to talk/play/have walks... don't think about it. Just go. You'll find very nice people welcoming you! And, dulcis in fundo, it's cheap. Check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful resort in the Apennine mountains, close to the small Ligonchio village. The hotel has an indoor pool and a terrace with an excellent view. There are plenty of trails to follow and the helpful staff can help to choose. The restaurant of the hotel is fantastic with great selection of food, many with local ingredients. Staff was always very helpful for everything that we needed. A place to come back!
