★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing restaurant. From the entry and friendly greeting of what seemed like the owner, to their staff, to the amazing food and the awesome view - this place is outstanding! Super close to The Valley of the Temple one could think that this is another tourist trap but you would be fooled to assume any of the like with this place. The serve big portions of fresh fish, great risotto and offer a wine list larger than the menu itself. Truly great place with fantastic indoor seating (still with a view) and a nice outdoor seating area. We paid around 65€ for a lunch for two and were stuffed (with starter, two mains and wine). Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great place! sophisticated but at the same time very welcoming. octopus and tuna carpaccio as appetizers superb, ricciola as main prepared Mediterranean style. chocolate mousse delicious. staff recommended an amazing white wine by the glass, the bottle was opened in front of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg this please is incredible!! Over looking the valley of temples so don't go late i advise you to go for sunset and enjoy the wine for a small bite before dinner i was there around 7:45. I ordered the frittura di pesce to share(fried fish calamiri and shrimps appetizers) AMAZING. They also provided and amazing pannelli in cubes ( you will smell the frying all the way from the parking )and warm bread. I ordered two primi's with my husband the pasta with clams and monkfish was amazing sweet and distinctive. Finally the dessert I ordered the mousse di ricotta and chocolate and something is magical. And my husband ordered semi freddo.
Great place ? highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant has a beautiful design and aesthetic, it totally drawns your attention from outside. The view of the valley of the temples is really nice, although not all tables have a good view. While making a reservation make sure you request a table with a front view even though the option is not there for the online reservation. Food wise is absolutely mesmerizing. We had the grilled octopus and the tuna steak, both were incredible. Octopus was crunchy and tasty and the combination with the fava beans sauce is surprisinly great. The tuna was soft and juicy, best I have ever tried. Prices are truly affordable for the experience. Preferably going during the day if you are not arriving by car, as the street where the restaurant is could be a bit dangerous to walk during night due to the lack of light and traffic. (It is a main street with some curves and some parts are not well illuminated)

Highly recommended to book in advance and to ask for a table in the little terrace facing the Temple Valley for a breath taking view of the Tempio della Concordia.
Food Is delicious and service is perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this restaurant so much !! They only serve great, selective, qualitative foods and drinks. You will get everything good since the first thing you order. Beer is great taste (From an aspect of beer lover: my husband). Foods are really like gastronomic restaurant, but remain local taste. Another impression for me is that they choose the super high end tea to serve you. I mean how many restaurants out there just choose any tea brand, it can replace, but not a pleasure. Just this little detail of the selection. You can see how the owner cares about the taste. So Don't forget to stop by !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great high-end place to eat in Agrigento. If you are lucky, you make get a table with a view of the temples. The service was very personable and friendly. The fried seafood and red shrimp with artichoke mousse were delicious. The red snapper for the main course was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il re di Girgenti is an absolute must visit for everyone who is in Sicily and loves good food. The restaurant offers an amazing atmosphere, both inside as well as outside on the little terrace with a view on the valley of Agrigento. The food is spectacular, mouthwatering. Everything is very well prepared and presented, the portions are good and the ricotta mouse with caramel and pistacchio is to die for. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great wine selection. I highly recommend this great restaurant.
