★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Io e la mia famiglia siamo andati in questo ristorante di ritorno dalla vacanza e ci era stato consigliato ma siamo rimasti molto delusi antipasto scarso, come primo abbiamo ordinato le fettuccine alla boscaiola ma le fettuccine erano immangiabili durissime con il frullato di piselli e funghi sopra e la grigliata invece era fatta con residui di grasso la carne era inesistente .. Morale siamo ripartiti con la fame dopo aver pagato un conto anche abbastanza alto per quello che si è mangiato e I proprietari anche molto scortesi visto che nemmeno si sono degnati di salutarci
 My family and I went to this restaurant on our way back from vacation and it was recommended to us but we were very disappointed poor starter, as first we ordered the fettuccine alla boscaiola but the fettuccine was inedible very hard with the pea and mushroom smoothie on top and the grilled instead was made with residues of fat the meat was non-existent .. Morale we left with hunger after paying a fairly high bill for what we ate and the owners also very rude since they didn't even deign to say hello

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sabato 21 agosto finalmente dopo una lunga attesa dovuta a vari fattori sono andato con la mia famiglia a pranzo alla trattoria Il Porcellino che si trova in Provincia di Teramo sulla Strada statale 80 nei pressi di Montorio Al Vomano.
Le aspettative erano molto alte in quanto i miei genitori nel mese di giugno avevano assaporato molte specialità del posto e molte chicche gourmet tipo la pera con granella di noci e la bresaola con ricotta abruzzese.
Ma ahimè nell'antipasto che ci hanno servito tutto ciò non c'era!
Ci hanno servito un mix di antipasti dal sapore buono dove però non era presente nessun sapore abruzzese a cominciare, avrei potuto mangiare le stesse cose in qualsiasi ristorante in Italia.
Come primo ho preso un'ottima casarecce con ragù di agnello, chitarrina alle pallottine e fettuccine alla boscaiola, queste ultime molto deludenti in quanto erano guarnite con una crema di funghi non di mio gradimento.
Per secondo una grigliata mista buona ma grandi assenti erano le salsicce e gli arrosticini abruzzesi... Ma come si fa??
Io vengo in Abruzzo e in un ristorante che si fa chiamare il Porcellino non mi servono specialità tipiche del luogo?
A seguire contorno dolce caffè nella norma, come il conto...
Consiglierei al proprietario di essere più affidabile coi clienti, bravo il ragazzo che ci ha servito!
Si potrebbe fare molto molto di più, la location è molto bella.
Finally, on Saturday 21st August, after a long wait due to various factors, I went with my family to lunch at the Il Porcellino restaurant which is located in the Province of Teramo on the state road 80 near Montorio Al Vomano.
Expectations were very high as in June my parents had tasted many local specialties and many gourmet goodies such as pear with walnuts and bresaola with Abruzzo ricotta.
But alas in the appetizer that they served us all this was not there!
They served us a mix of good tasting appetizers where, however, there was no Abruzzo flavor to start with, I could have eaten the same things in any restaurant in Italy.
As a first course I took an excellent casarecce with lamb ragout, chitarrina with pallottine and fettuccine alla boscaiola, the latter very disappointing as they were garnished with a cream of mushrooms not to my liking.
For second a good mixed grill but great absent were the Abruzzo sausages and kebabs ... But how do you do it?
I come to Abruzzo and in a restaurant that goes by the name of Il Porcellino I don't need typical local specialties?
Followed by sweet coffee side dish in the standard, like the bill ...
I would advise the owner to be more reliable with customers, good guy who served us!
Much more could be done, the location is very beautiful.

Assenza di un menù cartaceo e dei prezzi esposti.
Ordiniamo 3 gnocchi al castrato di pecora e riceviamo 3 piatti di gnocchi praticamente al pomodoro. Fatto notare al proprietario ci dice che quello lì è sugo di castrato ma che comunque avremmo anche potuto cambiare il piatto.
3 primi, 3 caffè e acqua 25€.

We order 3 gnocchi with mutton and we receive 3 dishes of gnocchi practically with tomato. Having pointed out to the owner, he tells us that there is mutton sauce but that we could also have changed the dish.

Accessibile alle persone in sedia a rotelle, rampa lunga con pendenze regolari, locale ben curato e spazioso. Ligi alle regole anti-covid19. Torneremo sicuramente!
All exceptional! Original appetizer with tasty combinations, very good and abundant first course, tender and tasty meat. Polite and friendly staff, fast service. Accessible to wheelchair users, long ramp with regular slopes, well-kept and spacious room. Loyal to anti-covid rules19. We will definitely be back!
