★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo pranzo, pasta molto buona, soprattutto quella alle vongole era spettacolare. La frittura di mare non era male, molto tenera all’interno.
 Great lunch, very good pasta, especially the one with clams was spectacular. The fried seafood was not bad, very tender inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Volevo provarlo da molto tempo, posto piccolino ma che già passandoci davanti ti attrae. Oggi finalmente posso confermare: ottimo pranzo (le polpette di tonno, piatto del giorno, deliziose!) ambiente accogliente (dentro molto piccolo ma sembra di stare in Grecia e tutto è molto curato) e soprattutto personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Consiglio assolutamente ma bisogna prenotare, sopratutto in alta stagione.
I have wanted to try it for a long time, a small place but that already attracts you when passing by. Today I can finally confirm: excellent lunch (tuna meatballs, dish of the day, delicious!) Welcoming environment (very small inside but it seems to be in Greece and everything is very nice) and above all very kind and helpful staff. I absolutely recommend but you have to book, especially in high season.

Come antipasti abbiamo mangiato un tris di tartare di pesce squisitissimo , poi frittini di alici e super polpette .
Come primo spaghetti alle vongole ... e qui vongole vere buonissime e pasta al dente come piace a noi. Per dolce una cheescake di frutti di bosco fatta con ricotta di bufala. Un pranzo di livello che ti fa percepire la particolare attenzione alla qualità dei prodotti . Applauso ai cuochi e al personale di sala! Consigliatissimo!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ absolutely delicious. Exceptional actually. Am a pssionate cook myself and have come to Il Pioniere for my Birthdays for years now. Sunday was my 60th. The menu offers new takes on classicl recipies. All our choices were a success: antipastas were delicate yet tasty. The calamari frittata was the BEST ever eaten in Italy in 30yrs. Our pastas, were perfectly cooked despite the full restaurant and tiny kitchen, with again ne takes on classical recipies. My birthday cheese cake with lime totally divine.Wine sadly no longer in the caraff and so more expensive was all the same of good quality and perfectly cool. Staff efficient and smiling, despite all the pressure. Asmallwait forourorders to comebutnothing exceptional espeicallyon asunny sunday.WELL DONE Il Pioniere. Cost: about average for seafood by the sea, a tad more expensive than I thought it would be but well worth it. Definately & highly recommended. Try to come in the week time and take your time. Just a 3min stroll to the beach so pre or post lunch walk perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little fish restaurant has a beautiful decor and great selection of seafood. The service however is very very slow, often not accommodating and forgetful so if you're after tasty fish this is your place, if you value great service however you'll be better off elsewhere
