★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked a blond staff member for a mini pizza and then inquired if it could be heated- she threw it into the oven, slammed and door, and stormed off. Either she was having the worst day ever and my non European accent sent her over the edge, or customer service doesn’t matter here. Side note, the mini pizza would’ve been better if it was a heated Totinos. Won’t return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee, a rich variety of sweet and salty pastries and pizzas. The croissants/brioches can be filled with Nutella or cream if you wish.
Tastewise all the food is pretty generic.
The toilet is pretty clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a place just around the corner so this is a regular for us. In the five years I've been coming here, the service and quality of the food and drink has always been excellent. Coffee is consistently great and the breakfast cakes are to die for. They are open 24 hours so a cheeky beer or cocktail late at night is always possible. Il Pane Quotidiano also offer free WiFi if you need it. A great little café!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place with nice fresh pastry. Prices are higher than average but they are not too bad. It’s probably the only drawback.
Of course if you go for aperitivo you’ll be offered some small snacks, like pieces of pizza and/or chips.
They also serve a nice coffee and price doesn’t change based if you get coffee on the bar or take a sit (in other places it’s the case as it’s more work for the bar)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice starting point on your journey in triest - you have a nice mixture of an european bakery and an american snack juice bar and italien morning cafe - very good espresso and fresh orange juices - paninis croissants also for take away to the beach is recommended -
