★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posticino familiare con cameriere e cuoco simpatici, mangiato rane fritte, risotto con rane e rane in carpione.... Sgranocchi delle mini ossicina... difficile dare un opinione in quanto non senti sapore e odore. Buona la paniscia.
Niche family with friendly waitresses and cook, eaten fried frogs, risotto with frogs and carpione frogs .... Crunches of mini ossicin ... difficult to give an opinion because you do not taste and smell. Good paniscia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pochi km dall'outlet di Vicolungo, c'è questo ottimo ristorante. Cameriere gentile e simpatico. Tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato è stato eccellente. Premetto che era la prima volta che mangiavo la paniscia, il piatto tipico della zona e come tutti i piatti tipici la ricetta cambia ogni 2 o 3 km. Ci siamo goduti anche la parte che rimane attaccata alla pentola, della quale ho purtroppo non ricordo il nome. Ottimo anche il gorgonzola come finale. Prezzo onesto. Da rifare (a quanto pare in Luglio per le rane).
A few kilometers from the outlet of Vicolungo, there is this excellent restaurant. Kind and pleasant waiter. Everything we ate was excellent. I state that it was the first time I ate the paniscia, the typical dish of the area and like all the typical dishes the recipe changes every 2 or 3 km. We also enjoyed the part that remains attached to the pot, which I unfortunately can not remember the name. Gorgonzola is also excellent as a final. Honest price. To be redone (apparently in July for frogs).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu fisso, ma su richiesta si può variare, il cuoco è molto disponibile, ma soprattutto prepara piatti da leccarsi i baffi. Qualità prezzo assolutamente perfetto....ci ritorneremo.
Fixed menu, but on request it can be changed, the cook is very helpful, but above all he prepares mouth-watering dishes. Absolutely perfect price quality .... we will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non sempre ci sono mezze misure: talora una cosa piace oppure, per gli stessi motivi, niente affatto... così è questo locale. Landiona è un piccolo paese di memorie contadine con costruzioni molto funzionali e quindi non c'è da stupirsi che anche "Il Mulino della Villa" risulti esteriormente non particolarmente appariscente e nascosto nel piccolo centro. L'interno è stato valorizzato ma non stravolto ed anche questo l'ho trovato logico ed apprezzabile.
La cucina è buona con un occhio a quella tipica della zona con punte di rispetto alla tradizione che rimandano alle tavole dei nostri nonni... certo che abituati a sapori decisi di un ecumenismo gastronomico potrebbe anche sembrare sin troppo semplice ma io l'ho trovata per questo davvero apprezzabile. Buoni i salumi, piacevole la paniscia come anche l'abbinamento tra cotechino e riso integrale, superbo addirittura il brasato di cinghiale con polenta...
Conto ragionevole per una buona serata che mi ha lasciato soddisfatto. Servizio gentile senza inutili salamelecchi.
There are not always half measures: sometimes you like something or, for the same reasons, not at all ... so is this place. Landiona is a small village of peasant memories with very functional constructions and therefore it is not surprising that even "Il Mulino della Villa" is not particularly showy on the outside and hidden in the small center. The interior has been enhanced but not distorted and I also found this logical and appreciable.
The cuisine is good with an eye to that typical of the area with peaks of respect for tradition that refer to the tables of our grandparents ... sure that accustomed to the strong flavors of a gastronomic ecumenism it might even seem too simple but I found it for this really appreciable. Good cured meats, pleasant paniscia as well as the combination of cotechino and brown rice, superb even the braised wild boar with polenta ...
Reasonable account for a good evening that left me satisfied. Friendly service without unnecessary salamons.
