G	Gianmarco F. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale senza troppe pretese. All'inizio non ci sembrava granché ma ci siamo trovati bene. Il locale è pulito e arredato bene. Il menù è discreto, non offre particolari specialità, è semplice ma i piatti sono apprezzabili. Noi abbiamo ordinato il pollo con i piselli, il risotto con gli asparagi, un'insalata mediterranea e le patate al forno, le porzioni sono abbondanti e ci hanno soddisfatto. Prezzo nella norma. Local without too many pretensions. At first it didn't look like much, but we enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and well furnished. The menu is discreet, does not offer special specialties, it is simple but the dishes are appreciable. We ordered chicken with peas, risotto with asparagus, a Mediterranean salad and baked potatoes, the portions are plentiful and they satisfied us. Price in the standard.

Chiediamo allo scostumatissimo e pretenzioso cameriere di cambiarli e lui risponde che trattasi di una bottiglia di prosecco millesimato Valdobbiadene appena aperta. Insistiamo per cambiarli e lui ci propone della Ribolla gialla. Accettiamo a malincuore e dopo poco ritorna con un vino che sembrava quasi aceto con un sovrapprezzo di 5€. Chiesto un chiarimento il simpatico cameriere va via senza rivolgerci neanche la parola. Siamo certi che un po' di lockdown a questo locale farà sicuramente bene. Ovviamente non ci torneremo mai più. On Sunday for lunch we have two prosecco. There we taste. They looked like mineral water. We ask the very rude and pretentious waiter to change them and he replies that it is a bottle of Valdobbiadene vintage prosecco just opened. We insist on changing them and he offers us some yellow Ribolla. We accept reluctantly and soon returns with a wine that looked almost like vinegar with a surcharge of 5 €. Asked for a clarification, the nice waiter leaves without even speaking to us. We are confident that a little lockdown at this venue will certainly do well. Of course we will never go back.

La domanda è, quanta???? Ci siamo alzati senza aver consumato. We waited 35 minutes at the table for someone to come to take our orders and when we pointed this out they told us we needed to be patient. The question is, how much ???? We got up without having consumed.

Una volta ci siamo seduti al tavolo ancora pieno dei resti della consumazione precedente e invece di liberare il nostro tavolo il cameriere liberava i tavoli vuoti vicino al nostro; quando è venuto a prendere l'ordinazione glielo abbiamo fatto notare, invece di scusarsi ha detto che i clienti non capivano che loro fossero in pochi. Poi mentre stavamo finendo la nostra consumazione è venuto a pulire il tavolo passando il panno fra i nostri bicchieri. Per migliorare hanno molto da lavorare; da capire se ne hanno voglia. Infine, invito i due camerieri a relazionarsi con i Clienti con educazione e cordialità e non con arroganza e irriverenza. I report as my personal opinion, the worst bar in Piazza San Giacomo di Udine. Once we sat at a table still full of the remains of the previous drink and instead of freeing our table, the waiter freed the empty tables next to ours; when he came to take the order we pointed it out to him, instead of apologizing he said that the customers did not understand that they were few. Then as we were finishing our drink he came to clean the table by passing the cloth between our glasses. To improve they have a lot of work to do; to understand if they feel like it. Finally, I invite the two waiters to relate to customers with education and cordiality and not with arrogance and irreverence.

Ci hanno avvertito che potevano esserci tempi di attesa, che poi si sono rivelati meno lunghi del previsto. Sulla qualità del cibo, bè... non si pretende chissà cosa, ma essendo sulla piazza più bella e caratteristica della città qualcosa di meglio si può sicuramente fare. Not great ... nice and quick waiters, but maybe two are too few. They warned us that there may be waiting times, which then turned out to be shorter than expected. Regarding the quality of the food, well ... we don't expect who knows what, but being on the most beautiful and characteristic square of the city something better can certainly be done.
