Trovandosi a percorrere la via Reale (Statale Adriatica) direzione Ravenna, è facile trovarlo sulla sinistra, non appena arrivati ad Argenta e poco prima dell'Ospedale. A parte la gentilezza dei gelatai, la varietà, e soprattutto la qualità dei gusti è al top. Al primo posto assoluto mettiamo il fiordipanna (e la panna montata). Ma che dire del mascarpone, ricco di pinoli? O del bacio, pieno di nocciole? Ogni anno questi bravi ragazzi studiano gusti nuovi, che è impossibile non provare. Riescono addirittura a seguire la stagionalità: ricordiamo ancora con vera "commozione" il gelato alla zucca e quello alle castagne, di qualche autunno fa. Evidentemente le materie prime sono eccezionali, come pure il sotteso know-how. Anche le cialde sono ottime. Al Gelatone inoltre si trovano sempre deliziosi zuccotti, torte e gelati sul bastoncino. Ovviamente, dato il periodo, sono rispettate le norme anti-Covid. Si entra due per volta, e si può degustare sulle panchine esterne. Insomma, il Gelatone è davvero una tappa obbligata per rinfrescarsi, ritrovando il piacere di un gelato inimitabile. We have been loyal customers of Gelatone for about 20 years.
