★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buongiorno, ieri sera sono stato a cena con la mia famiglia e con degli amici; il posto è davvero molto bello, abbiamo cenato all'aperto sotto il pergolato. Il cibo è ottimo, abbiamo preso diversi antipasti (tra cui quelli di formaggi e verdure) e la pizza vari gusti. Tutto buonissimo, unica pecca il prezzo, abbastanza costoso( esempio una birra Nastro Azzurro 6 euro) e un po' scarse le porzioni.
 Good morning, last night I had dinner with my family and friends; the place is really very nice, we dined outside under the pergola. The food is great, we took several appetizers (including cheese and vegetable ones) and the pizza various tastes. All very good, the only flaw is the price, quite expensive (for example a Nastro Azzurro beer 6 euros) and the portions a bit scarce.

Nice location under a pergola, certainly suitable for summer evenings to dampen the heat of the city. Not bad food, loved the pork knuckle and the house wine. In addition, a nice fox ? appeared between the tables amid the curiosity of the diners

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in the area, definitely visit this beautiful location. It is a stunning country house surrounded by nature. You dine in/underneath a vineyard. The personnel are very kind and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. Made with local products and amazing recipes that even go back to the 1700's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely family run restaurant and wonderful people. The food is plentiful and tasty and wonderful. The surroundings are picturesque and calm. Everyone is cool, calm and friendly and make you feel like one of the family. Food is prepared fresh everyday and the ingredients are from their own land and locally sourced. Great value for money and a must to eat and drink there. When we are here we ensure we visit an few times!!!!

Family run business, plenty of locals which suggest the products and dishes are outstanding and prices more than reasonable. Me and girlfriend were treated very well by attentive staff who suggested incredible dishes.it was so good we came back for another dinner in the same week. Both pasta dishes and meat dishes are great. Starters and desserts left us without words. Setting also very suggestive, immersed in nature with lovely lights. The staff could also speak plenty of languages, from German to French and of course English. Don't spend your salary on the coast for touristic restaurants, you won't regret trying out il frescale!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location!! This place is the highlight of our holidays this year. Il Frescale is located beautifully in the mountains between Chestnut-trees. Up there the climate is much better tempered than in the hot villages at the beach. The owners are adorable, welcoming people like Italy was known for long. They run their own tasty restaurant, many ingredients are coming from their gardens, the pizza is the best I ever had! You can sit comfortably under wineries, the waiters are all super sympathic... If you don't make it home, I recommend to take one of their cozy rooms to enjoy a calm night in this wonderful little paradise :)
