Servizio cordiale e professionalmente preparato con un attenzione particolare nello spiegare cosa si andrà a degustare. Materie prime di assoluta qualità preparate sempre in modo da stupire sia dal punto di vista visivo che gustativo. Il tutto arricchito da una location rassicurante con camino in primo piano che mette il cliente al centro dell'attenzione. Assolutamente da provare. Complimenti al Signor Dario. Un vero e proprio gioiellino, pulito con camere molto graziose (vi consiglio quelle con lucernario per una vista diretta sul cielo stellato). Ottima colazione a km0 e ottima cucina gourmet con rivisitazione dei piatti tipici abruzzesi, senza stravolgimenti, con sapori delicati e accostamenti ben fatti. Ci torneremo di sicuro. Ambiente molto familiare . Gorgeous place and great staff. In the center of Pescasseroli, with free parking very close. A real gem, clean with very nice rooms (I recommend those with skylights for a direct view of the starry sky). Excellent breakfast at km0 and excellent gourmet cuisine with a reinterpretation of typical Abruzzo dishes, without distortions, with delicate flavors and well-made combinations. We will be back for sure. Very familiar environment.

A real mountain garni: welcoming, hospitable and warm. The owners excellent guests who take care of every detail of the stay. Best restaurant in Pescasseroli offers traditional Abruzzo dishes in a modern way. The patisserie and the wide choice of regional wines are another reason to come back.

Posto al centro di Pescasseroli, ideale per una vacanza estiva a passeggiare nei boschi e a pochi minuti di auto dagli impianti sciistici. La colazione più buona che abbia gustato, per non parlare della cena, ottima e abbondantissima. Particolare non trascurabile è la cordialità e la bravura della famiglia che ti accoglie all arrivo e che guida la struttura con amore. The best breakfast I have tasted, not to mention the dinner, excellent and abundant. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e premuroso. Ho mangiato più di quanto avrei fatto con il menù alla carta ma sono stato soddisfattissimo. Il prezzo è stato giusto per tutte quelle porzioni. Il locale è confortevole ed accogliente ma è piccolo e quindi è meglio prenotare. Vorrei tornarci anche in altre occasioni. Family run, set menu lunch the day after Christmas, but of excellent quality, with a range of small but numerous specialties, cooked to perfection. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I ate more than I would have done with the a la carte menu but I was delighted. The price was right for all those portions. The restaurant is comfortable and welcoming but it is small and therefore it is best to book. I would also like to go back on other occasions.

É un piccolo ma estremamente accogliente hotel, al centro di Pescasseroli, con un piccolo parcheggio davanti la struttura. Ha poche ma molto ben curate stanze, letti comodi, e tutto l'occorrente per un indimenticabile soggiorno; che dire della colazione? SUPER! yogurt, frutta fresca, spremuta d'arancia, torte, dolcetti e marmellate, tutto fatto in casa. Il Duca é anche (forse é soprattutto) un piccolo, ma delizioso ristorante, dove si respira un calore come quello che si prova a stare in famiglia, e una cucina eccellente guidata dalla signora Gabriella che ogni giorno crea dei piatti in cui si possono ritrovare il rispetto della tradizione, l'utilizzo degli ingredienti migliori del territorio e il desiderio di soddisfare al massimo il cliente. In sala c'è sua figlia Assunta, la cui passione per il suo lavoro, la sua preparazione, l'attenzione ad ogni piccolo dettaglio sono davvero fuori dal comune e degni di nota. In aiuto in sala c'è anche il giovane ma esperto Alessandro, a cui va una menzione speciale per la sua educazione, discrezione e delicatezza. C'è un menù fisso, che varia di volta in volta e in base alla stagionalità dei prodotti. Sono in tutto 9 portate a testa (tre antipasti, tre primi, un secondo, il contorno e il dolce) ma si esce sazi al punto giusto e incredibilmente soddisfatti! Anche la cantina merita un plauso: prevalentemente Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (tutti da scoprire!), ma con chicche anche di altre zone, sempre notevoli. SUPER! yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, cakes, sweets and jams, all homemade. Il Duca is also (perhaps it is above all) a small, but delightful restaurant, where you can breathe a warmth like that of being with the family, and an excellent cuisine led by Mrs. Gabriella who creates dishes in which they can be found every day. respect for tradition, the use of the best local ingredients and the desire to satisfy the customer as much as possible. In the dining room is his daughter Assunta, whose passion for her work, her preparation, attention to every little detail are truly out of the ordinary and noteworthy. Helping in the room is also the young but experienced Alessandro, who deserves a special mention for his education, discretion and delicacy. There is a fixed menu, which varies from time to time and according to the seasonality of the products. There are a total of 9 courses each (three appetizers, three first courses, one second course, the side dish and the dessert) but you are satisfied at the right point and incredibly satisfied! The winery also deserves an applause: mainly Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (all to be discovered!), But also with goodies from other areas, always remarkable. l	luigi caulo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura lo scorso week end, beh che dire, posto incantevole, curato nei minimi dettagli, molto pulito (diventa difficile trovare anche un singolo granello di polvere) e gestito con vero amore da Gabriella e il suo gentilissimo staff. Appena entrati si respira un’atmosfera di casa, si viene accolti in maniera calorosa e subito ci si sente a proprio agio. In sintesi si viene trattati come amici e non come ospiti. La location è situata nel cuore di Pescasseroli, stanze matrimoniali molto accoglienti e confortevoli, colazione deliziosa composta da un vasto assortimento di dolce e salato ma soprattutto da ottime marmellate fatte in casa. La sera, data l’ottima impressione avuta, abbiamo optato per cenare in struttura. Viene servita una degustazione composta da 9 portate della tradizione pescasserolese rivisitate in una chiave moderna e gourmet. Tutto molto buono e delicato che lascia molto sazi e accompagnato da un gradevolissimo Montepulciano. In conclusione posso affermare che questa non è stata la prima volta che abbiamo soggiornato al Duca degli Abruzzi e posso affermare, in modo ancora più sicuro, che non sarà certamente l’ultima. Anche se i materassi sono molto scomodi. Qualità/prezzo ottimo per il soggiorno. Abbiamo avuto anche l’occasione di poter mangiare lì, solo su prenotazione, e devo essere sincera anche il cibo molto buono. Qualità/prezzo discreto, il conto troppo alto per le piccole porzioni di cibo. Excellent solution for a weekend We had a really good time in this hotel.
