The atmosphere is also great thanks to the relax decoration!
To conclude, you have to stop there !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Il Covino with a friend on a recent visit; we were staying in Prati and were pleased to find such an excellent enoteca so nearby. Superb choice of wines and a delicious tagliere of meat, cheese and antipasti (also excellent panini); service was very friendly and welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, stylish decor. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not at all tourist friendly. This place was close to where I'm staying so decided to have dinner. Most of the restaurant was empty, but got offered a corner and it took 25 mins or more for even anyone to come by and ask what I wanted. Then another 30 mins or more to get the 3 slices for cheese. As mentioned, ordered cheese platter which was ok not impressive, surprised I've had better Cheese selections elsewhere.
My suggestion is if you don't want tourists on non natives, then just say there is no tables available. I would have genuinely had a way better dinner and time at mc donalds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great wine bar in the Prati neighborhood of Rome. The waiters helped us choose our wine to accompany a platter of cheeses and hams. It was a bit strange though that the bar did not offer a printed menu and the waiter pointed me to the instagram account of the bar to check out the food menu. There was no menu for the wines. On the whole it was a nice place for wine tasting in Rome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place. GREAT wine selections on the wall. Food order was a bit rushed/compacted but I wasn’t expecting some sort of killer service…it’s not what they build themselves to be. What they do is serve a great selection of wine (even in simple, by-the-glass choices), with a simple but more interesting than typical food selection, play great music in a unique little atmosphere, and display themselves in transparency and humility when pulled into conversation. Beautiful people trying to do something simply enjoyable.
