★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought a 'hotel" restaurant might be expensive and a bit intimidating however this was one of most enjoyable meals all week. Ate outside which was very pleasant and atmospheric Try the Castanato and the Parfait de Mandorle..exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Cortile is a really nice place located at the very heart of Custonaci, 5 min walk from the old town. I stayed here twice during my trip to Sicily. Both of the rooms were very clean and cosy. I love the view to the garden. The personnel was really kind and helping. The restaurant serves typical Sicilian food, all of which was very tasty and fresh, and a really good wine. I will definitely get back to Il Cortile when coming to Western Sicily again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of the best in town, unique location, cosy and welcoming. Immerse in nature and huge trees around. The food is awesome and the staff very funny and friendly. They use a lot of local product, specialties that you can't find anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This family run hotel and restaurant has, perhaps, the most authentic and delicious food in all Italy. Most vegetables, especially the finocchio are selvatici, which means wild, from the forest. The staff are friendly and most accommodating. I read about this place in the Washington Post over 15 years ago. The next generation is cooking now, and the food is amazing. Katia makes Cassatelli that are lighter than air, delicious in brodo or tomato sauce. I've never had a better home made pasta! Don't miss them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a couple of nights at the hotel. Parking is available. The room is comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfast is plentiful. The locality is ideal for exploring the area (Erice, Capo San Vito).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good lunch, I took Cassatalle ( homemade ravioli, stuffed with Ricotta ) and Caponata ( Typical sicilian vegetable dish ), everything was fresh , tasty and fairly priced. Service was also excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly staff, looks like a family run hotel and restaurant. We went there because we are staying in Custonaci. The food was all cooked fresh and was truly Sicilian. It looked like the pasta was home made as well.
