★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Palermo uno dei migliori "pani cà meusa" tipico cibo street food palermitano cioè panino a pagnotta o mezza mafalda con milza e polmone a fettine cotte nello strutto. Una delizia palermitana che risale al Medioevo quando gli ebrei palermitani venivano ripagati per i loro lavori con le interiora del vitello che poi rivendevano cotte con pane e formaggio. Complimenti ai titolari da oltre 4 generazioni.
In Palermo one of the best "pani cà meusa" typical Palermo street food, that is, a loaf sandwich or half mafalda with spleen and sliced lung cooked in lard. A Palermitan delight that dates back to the Middle Ages when the Jews of Palermo were repaid for their work with the entrails of the veal which they then resold cooked with bread and cheese. Congratulations to the owners for over 4 generations.

Anche quello con panelle è di riferimento. Gli ingredienti sono freschi e quando finisce la milza, chiudono e riaprono il giorno dopo con nuova milza. Consiglio di mangiare sul posto perché il gusto e superlativo. Il parcheggio può, in certi orari, essere un problema.

The one with panelle is also a reference. The ingredients are fresh and when the spleen runs out, they close and reopen the next day with a new spleen. I recommend eating on the spot because the taste is superb. Parking can, at certain times, be a problem.
