★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time in Calabria (50-th time in Italy), first night out, eating Italian special pizza with really really ''good'' thick American crust, 3kg of what is the cheapest thing in South - of course red onion and on top French fries. Ok, I can get over thick American crust and also over onion, but when I saw French fries on my pizza I was tempted to ask for ketchup just to see the reaction from the waiter. Also as a side dish I was served with a bread. Pizza + French fries + bread = Questa non può essere la vera Italia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reception from a tavern, horrible and rude people, icing on the cake, eating bad and if you go the Nas or Chi of competence in Italy would be a local seal. Only discrete thing is the piz If you want to avoid intoxication I advise against 100 / poor food??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh wow! Totally amazing pizza and pasta. Had a pasta with Ragu, mushrooms, parmesan and spicy sausage that was utterly delicious and the house pizza "Casale" that was equally fantastic with local onion and super spicy relish. Yum yum yum!! So glad that literally *every* restaurant in Tropea was inexplicably closed!
