★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella piazza principale del paese di Bagnaia, lungo la strada che lo taglia in due, questo locale si presenta invitante per la presenza della parte in ombra davanti (ex pergola che una volta caratterizzava le trattorie per viaggiatori). L'ambiente è arredato in maniera confusa, ordinaria e forse anche un pò kitsch. Il cibo è nella norma. Il servizio senza infamia ne lode. Il prezzo è contenuto e in linea con quanto proposto.
In the main square of the village of Bagnaia, along the road that cuts it in two, this place is inviting for the presence of the shaded part in front (former pergola that once characterized the restaurants for travelers). The environment is furnished in a confused, ordinary and perhaps even a little kitsch way. Food is normal. The service without infamy or praise. The price is low and in line with what is proposed.

We ate very well, friendliness and speed of service. I'm only sorry I didn't taste the first one. The best ciscake I've ever eaten.

Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, all in a very suggestive small village. If you are planning to visit Villa Lante I suggest you stop here for lunch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a nice looking restaurant, Il Borgo, on the town square so we sat down and Deb perused the menu, trying to translate the Italian. I'm not sure how successful she was - I had pumpkin ravioli which was superb. I think she was expecting fish soup but a bowl arrived festooned with crabs claws and a whole family of baby octopoii floating in the sauce. I didn't actually look until I'd finished mine as I'd probably have chucked but Deb is made of sterner stuff and ate the lot! Service was excellent, the food was beautifully presented and prices were good.
