★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10/10. We spent two nights here in late September on our way back from Umbria to Milan. It was perfect. Lovely servicable room (though the bathroom is separate - so you will need to use their bathrobes). Sylvia looked after us brilliantly - recommending wonderful places for us to go and eat in the evening - places we might either never have found, or failed to recognise for the quality of food offered. Outstanding evenings! But the highlight of the trip was her guided tour of the balsamic vinegar manufacturing they do there - what an eye (and tongue-opener!) For someone who has only ever used supermarket balsamic, mixed in olive oil, I had NO idea what I was missing. We bought three different bottles which Sylvia shipped home for us - (2 at 30 euros a bottle and one, gulp, at 80!) We have been converted! Highly, highly recommended. A wonderful corner of Italy.
