Come tutti i vecchietti, lui 94 enne, aveva bisogno improvvisamente di una badante, grazie ad una ischemia importante. Non era molto contento fare tutti i giorni la doccia, di mangiare ad orario, la colazione, la merendina, e una alimentazione un pò più sana di quello che faceva a casa... insomma quelle regole che per fortuna ci devono essere altrimenti sarebbe una babele. E poi si sa, ad una certa età, si impigriscono e ogni cosa viene vista come una imposizione, ma per fortuna che avevo trovato una struttura seria. Papà mi raccontava che dipingeva, ascoltava la sua musica lirica, canzoni napoletane, faceva la partitella a carte ... Io arrivavo sempre all'improvviso e capivo che era seguito... lo trovavo sempre ben curato e pulito. Grazie alla responsabile, forse alle sue regole "rigide" e alle sue maestranze...
