★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my short life, I have eaten a lot of Pizza in Italy. My mother is obsessed with pizza and I can say with confidence that her pizza is better than that of 60% of restaurants in Italy. I have tried the pizza at da Michele twice and yet I can without hesitation say that the Pizza I have eaten today is one of the three best I have ever eaten. Unfortunately this leaves me in a state of crisis because I will probably have to endure multiple years of drought before getting the privilege of enjoying such an experience again.
The pulpo salad was also pretty good and opened my eyes to the use of sweetened potato creme with vanilla. However, this doesn't compare to how shook I am by the pizza. Cheers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lively local restaurant with a warm friendly atmosphere. By far the BEST pizza we have eaten on our tour of Italy ! Very reasonably priced, great beer selection.(We actually chose to get an earlier train and eat here rather than dining in nearby Florence)
