★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo posto per passeggiate, per correre e per andare in mountain bike. Disponibile parcheggio non lontano, a sud del bosco, all'ingresso a Basovizza. Posto peraltro molto frequentato, soprattutto in primavera ed estate e di sabato e domenica.
Great place for walking, running and mountain biking. Parking available not far, south of the forest, at the entrance to Basovizza. Place also very popular, especially in spring and summer and on Saturday and Sunday.

Sono segnati (non benissimo) tre percorsi da 2, 3 e 5 km circa. Da lì si può partire per diversi altri percorsi verso Lipica, Sezana oltre al più impegnativo monte Cocusso.
Peccato che il bosco sia abbandonato e numerosi e sempre più frequenti sono gli alberi che nelle giornate di bora cadono abbattuti dal vento rimanendo lì per mesi impedendo alle volte il passaggio.
One of the most popular places for Trieste runners.
Three routes of about 2, 3 and 5 km are marked (not very well). From there you can leave for several other routes towards Lipica, Sezana as well as the more demanding Cocusso mountain.
Too bad that the wood is abandoned and numerous and increasingly frequent are the trees that fall blown down by the wind on bora days, remaining there for months, sometimes preventing the passage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo luogo. Il bosco è sempre bello , d'inverno e d'estate. Ogni tanto si vedono cerbiatti o leprotti. È il posto è perfetto per fare passeggiate o per fare delle corsette, in compagnia o in solitaria. Ci sono delle panchine ogni tot di km dove è possibile riposare, leggere o meditare.
Beautiful place. The forest is always beautiful, in winter and in summer. Occasionally we see fawns or hares. It is the perfect place for walking or jogging, in company or alone. There are benches every few kilometers where you can rest, read or meditate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bello se ti piacciono i boschi, sentieri e sentierini si snodano tra gli alberi del bosco di Basovizza, scenari evocativi ed atmosfere particolari, a seconda della stagione e del clima, ci sono tracciati più e meno frequentati, si possono incontrare corridori, gente a spasso ed eventuali cani, è un tipico bosco carsico.
