Casa CARACALLA is a delightful apartment where the modern and the antique come together to create a special atmosphere that gives the feeling of being at home. Located in a quiet side street, however, it is close to one of the most famous places of Roman nightlife, Testaccio, and is served by bus and underground trains to reach any destination. An ideal starting point to visit Rome and enjoy a relaxing holiday.

This is great find; lovely, clean apartment with all facilities in a quiet neighborhood but just 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum and 5 minutes walk to the metro and very close to many bars and tavernas. The owner was a real gentleman and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Hope to go back soon. Highly recommended

We stayed in Casa Caracalla, hosted by Aldo for one and a half months in February and March, 2017. In summary, we'd recommend this place wholeheartedly to any couples or group of travellers looking for a place with a character, easily accessible but also located perfectly to be in a very local neighbourhood. Baths of Caracalla, Non-catholic cemetery, Testaccio, Circo Massimo, and many other places are easily reachable by walking. Aldo is a great host that really made himself available fully from the first moment of contact to the last minute. He was super-fast in answering all our questions before renting the place and throughout our stay. The place itself has an ambience that is hard to describe: with high ceilings, the balcony, the old wooden doors and furniture, the paintings. I can easily say that it was one of the most special vacation houses we ever rented. We really love this place! we actually were so lucky that we got married during our stay in this house, so it will always be in our best memories to be a part of this experience. Thank you Aldo, for a wonderful experience and your friendly presence.

Very nice apartment, quite comfortable, good A/C for hot spell in Rome! Very convenient to the Piramide Metro Stop. Aldo was VERY helpful and informative. Though our stay was too short Aldo and the apartment made it easy and comfortable.

We had a great stay at Caracalla! Aldo is very nice, funny and helpful. If there was a problem, he was immediately their to help us. He explained us were we can find good restaurants, sights and public transport stations. The house is very pretty and cosy. Nearby the house there are many bus, tram and metro stations. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We definitely recommend the Caracalle house and Aldo!

My husband and I stayed in the Caracalla apartment for one month and we loved it. It was very quiet, safe, and easy to access public transportation. Aldo, the manager, is super friendly and willing to help with anything you might need. He is fantastic. The apartment is very comfortable and user-friendly. It has everything you need for a great trip. The location is interesting because you are not really aware of how close to the Forum, Coliseum, and other amazing attractions you are. It feels like you are in a typical Roman neighborhood yet you are actually in the middle of major historical sites. We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go or took the metro if it was hot. A major transportation hub is a five minute walk away with easy/cheap train rides to Fiumicino Airport, Florence, Orvieto etc. There are lots of places to eat nearby. Our favorite non-Italian place was the Chinese restaurant two blocks away. Italian Chinese food is delicious! We also shopped and cooked quite a lot. The kitchen is small but functioned well. Caracalla is quirky, but in a way we enjoyed. Everything works well and is easy to figure out. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future.
