★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't stayed in the hotel but before lockdown the restaurant was my favourite local. I have seen the staff face all the regulations, adapt to everything with courage and a smile. They have never faltered. If I didn't live off the beaten track (literally: it's 4x4 accessible only) I would certainly order a take away. It is as reliable as eating in the restaurant. When the hotel was first opened I was given a tour of the kitchens which are well organised and sparkly clean. I'm just waiting for better times to be able to have a meal in the restaurant again. Bon Apetit!
