★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Hotel La Vela for two weeks last year in July of 2014 and it was one of my best hotel experiences. Silvia and Marco are wonderful people and really care that you are having a great time and food! I really felt like I was staying with family oppose to staying at a hotel. I would recommend this hotel and the restaurant next door and I can't wait to go back and visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while touring this part of Italy. We can't praise the staff enough for their warm hospitality - wonderful!
The rooms were clean and the air-conditioning was a welcome break in mid-July.
We would agree that the showers (directly into the bathroom) were a bit difficult to use but a small price to pay for reasonable rates and excellent service
They also offered a very nice restaurant menu every night although the dining room was not air-conditioned and outside dining was difficult due to mosquitos.
Overall, we definitely would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here after our train was cancelled and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay and we hope to be able to come back again!
