On the sea, in the mornig fishers sell their fishes. Quiet place on the road to call di Milazzo a wonderful sightseeing place. Room is elegant and the staff very kind, breakfast is complete, in salad and sweet version. Few minutes to historical center... I'll come back.

VERY good breakfast (according to the Italian standards; one piece of sweets). There was ham, cheese, salami, tomato and of course, many types of sweets with different types of juice, milk, water. The hotel is at a very good location; next to a fishing harbor. In clean weather Mount Etna is visible just in front of the hotel. Free parking is in front of the hotel, or nearby. There are more restaurants, and sweet shops in walking distance. The castle is just 10-15 minutes walking away (depends on how fast you can climb up the stairs :)) The harbor for the ships which take us to the volcanic islands is about 15 minutes walk. The beach is on the other side of the peninsula; about 10 minutes walk (not sandy but small rocky beach). The inside of the room and the hotel itself was very elegant. It was a noble house from the 18th century changed to hotel. Good and strong wifi signal in the rooms. There are 4 rooms with seaside view (ours was NOT this one) As we had to book two rooms for 2+3 persons, they asked in advance if we want to have 2 rooms close to each others. There was very poor noise isolation; we could hear every steps and talks from the corridor to the room. The lady who served the breakfast did not smile at all and did not really speak/understood English (not even the room number). We asked if the castle is open on Monday; the receptionist said yes, we went there, but actually, it was closed. One of the receptionist did not really speak English.

Very good location just next to port where you can start your traveling to islands. Service at medium level does not correspond to 4 stars hotel. Room is cosy but on the first floor you can't open window as anybody can enter.

Charming and more than a little eccentric but good value in April at Β£38 for a double ensuite room. My room was a kooky homage to a 1960's sail boat but it was clean, the shower was hot and the bed was fine. The hair dryer wasn't working which was the only niggle. Breakfast, which was included was decent with a fairly broad choice of cereal, bread, yogurt, cakes, pastries and fruit. Perhaps the best thing about the hotel was the warm, friendly welcome we received from a lovely chap on reception.

This hotel is located next to the coast road which is during the day heavy trafficked. The hotel has not its own parking, so sometimes is impossible to park the car near the structure. Rooms are nice and they are daily cleaned. As the hotel is rated by 4 β˜€οΈ, rooms should be definitely more spaced and comfortable. Room doors as well as windows are realy poorly soundproof insulated. The hotel staff is very kind and gentle. The quality of the breakfast buffet is really poor. For 4 ? hotel is not acceptable that serves the croissant taken from the "supermarket" For my opinion, the hotel is ok for the short stay only.

The shower was a little on the smaller side, but the water pressure was great. Staff was very friendly. The location was great. A/C was very good. Disliked Β· The bed and bedding were a little uncomfortable, but I still managed a good night of sleep. This is a comfortable little hotel, but don't go there expecting the Hilton.
