★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you are visiting Venice, you should definitely come and try their food.
We had the lobster + crab sauce pasta and the clams and shrimps couscous. It was one of the best food we ate on our Sardinia/Venice trip.
All the seafood is very fresh and delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked at my hotel where to go, she suggested this (after the hotel restaurant) but she added, you will need a reservation! -so I went there early...
Baccala Mantecato was on my list of things to try; it was good, I would have guessed on a stronger fish taste.
The Bigoi, clam and mussels spaghetti was brilliant, best dish I had on this four day trip!
The plate of fried seafood, I did not really "need" that :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! We found this place on google it was one of the top rated on google so we've decided to try it out...
When we've arrived it was crowded with locals standing outside drinking their beers/wines etc
I immediately felt that this was a place worth our visit...
once inside there was a birthday going on so it felt very homey feeling...the restaurant is decorated with different drawings, pictures, props etc just to make it more creative (we really loved this!)
After sitting down they brought us an english menu (in poster format) but that's allright...at least we could read what we were oredering. The waiters were all nice and patient (they spoke very good english so i'm guessing they are used to having tourists popping by)
we ordered 2 Baccala mantecato, a bottle of water, a beer, grilled beef, seafood pasta and a seafood mix (varies daily)...oh boy this did not disappoint!! We loved the seafood mix and the super tasty Baccala Mantecato (Creamy cod) which has a distinctive flavour to it...you should definitely try this local snack. (this Restaurant gives you a lot more than most Hostarias and bars...looking at the picture says it all..it's a thick layer of creamy cod and not some small layer.)
but the ultimate winner was definitely the Steak...it was grilled medium and it was very juicy !! now that's how you grill a steak!! at last we also ordered a Tiramisu which was nice to close this wonderful evening.
I'd recommend this place to anyone who is staying in Venezia-Mestre...it's a 600Meter walk from the Venezia-Mestre FS trainstation but that's allright...10-15 minute walk definitely worth your time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish and food is delicious. We had fresh and boiled seafood as appetizers and lobster linguine and fried seafood as main courses and all was fantastic. Soave was OK, but a bit pricy. Desserts are not great. Atmosphere and service is very good and overall experience is very positive, just pick the wine carefully and don’t expect the best desserts.

Incredible atmosphere and very welcoming and accommodating service!
As for the food...the choice of snacks at the front is out of this world... Never in my life I thought cod can taste that awesome!!
As for the chef's cooking, I have to be honest... I'm a foodie and I cook, but this cook does magic to the food and it's just fantastic!!!
If you are ever in the area...to hell with this. If you're within 100 kilometers, come!!!! You won't be sorry you did.
Try making a reservation if you are planning dinner though, place is packed after 7-30-8pm.
