 I was there today for lunch with my wife, we had a great time, the staff is kind and welcoming, the pasta I would call divine, never eaten a cheese and pepper like this! I'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se cercate cucina tipicamente romana questo ristorante è la perfezione, primi e secondi romanamente cucinati a mestiere, sapori antichi, porzioni abbondanti, prezzi modici. Consiglio pasta alla pecorara, trippa al sugo, polpette al pomodoro e cicoria ripassata. Dajeee
If you are looking for typically Roman cuisine, this restaurant is perfection, first and second courses cooked in a Roman way, ancient flavors, generous portions, moderate prices. I recommend pecorara pasta, tripe with sauce, meatballs with tomato sauce and sautéed chicory. Dajeee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 stelle perché la pasta era veramente buona e abbondante, anche il servizio è buono, sono stati accoglienti. Chiamarlo spartano è un eufemismo, però da provare se volete mangiare bene e cucina tipica. Un po' di dubbi sul prezzo, nello scontrino non si leggono le singole voci e dai commenti online sembra che i piatti costino molto poco mentre ci sia 3 euro di coperto, se così fosse la trovo una follia. Ad ogni modo non posso confermarlo, se siete di strada vale la pena provare.
4 stars because the pasta was really good and plentiful, the service is also good, they were welcoming. Calling it Spartan is an understatement, but a must try if you want to eat well and traditional cuisine. A bit of doubts about the price, in the receipt you do not read the individual items and from the online comments it seems that the dishes cost very little while there is 3 euros covered, if so I find it madness. Anyway I can't confirm it, if you are on the road it is worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È tutto vero. Arrivando l'impressione del locale non è un gran che ma sai che è una trattoria molto alla mano senza grandi pretese. In questo periodo di freddo ci hanno sistemato all'intero. Tutto il menù è tipicamente romano e non solo. La pecorara è da urlo, la carbonara entusiasmante, la bistecca ancora ne sento il profumo ed il sapore. Entrate tranquilli, uscirete entusiasti. Personale cordiale e cortese. Abbiamo speso il giusto ma abbiamo mangiato veramente bene.
It's all true. Arriving, the impression of the place is not that great but you know that it is a very easy-going restaurant without great pretensions. In this period of cold they have placed us inside. The whole menu is typically Roman and beyond. The pecorara is to scream, the carbonara exciting, the steak still smell and taste. Enter calmly, you will leave enthusiastic. Friendly and courteous staff. We spent the right amount but we ate really well.
