★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had a very pleasant time here. The sisters are very nice, and the place is quiet and peaceful - this is rare to find in Rome! Additionally, there's a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Just research the Rome restaurants a little bit before you arrive: we ended up getting duped paying 15 euros for a coffee and a biscuit just because we sat down (it's much cheaper if you stand and take your coffee). You can also save some money by not ordering water - most restaurants will only offer bottled, and not tap.
The sisters are so kind and quiet, but don't hesitate to ask them questions about Rome. They lent us some guidebooks, and told us how to get to places and also where the hidden treasures of Rome are (Rome has so many things to do, so it's nice to get some guidance). The location is VERY safe if you're a lone traveler or family - they have cameras outside and inside the entryways.
Two little tips for you: if you're too hot in the summer, you can ask the sisters for a fan. Secondly, there's a very efficient shuttle service from FCO airport to this exact location - the price is 15 euros each person, which is only 1 euro more than lugging all your bags through the express train. Just go to the express train kiosk in the airport, and ask for the shuttle service. Their website is also: airportshuttleexpress.it.
