The camping is From the camping you can visit the site of Selinunte and it is easy to take the bus to Castelvettrano, where you can take the train to sicilian cities. The camping itself is clean and the senor is very friendly. Thanks for giving us such a good time, Dries Dams
R	Rocco Ianiello on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are on the south side of the island and are looking for a good camping spot or somewhere to p=park your Campervan/RV then this is a real quirky but nice place The whole area is like an ancient greek or roman site which gives the campsite its quirky feel The campsite extends down to the beach but not onto the beach which is a lovely soft sandy beach where the waves roll onto the beach with a roar The tent pitches are on sand so quite easy to pitch on but some spots are sand on top of concrete but if you end up on one of these then just move a few feet and you will be fine The site owner does not speak very much english but is very helpful and is more than willing to help out but the campsite is off the beaten path by quite a lot so make sure you have supplies before stopping here as its a long way to 'civilisation' however just 2km on the right is a fantastic pizzeria and you are recommended to mention Camping Helios when you order/pay The only downsides are it cost 27 euro for two tiny tents, two people and one car which made it the most expensive campsite on our trip but this is not outrageous and lastly the showers. They work well but it is a very bizarre system and you can easily end up loosing 1 euro and possibly paying twice but pick your time and and all should be ok
j	julie foreman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive for out of season. We had no electricity, no toilet paper then we were having to pay to have a shower!! The ground was very hard to pitch a tent on let alone sleeping on it. Car had to be parked away from the tent. Host not hospitable.
l	lucia di liddo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you want to spend your vacation to relax and beautiful sea, please choose this camping! the camping is located very near to the beach and it is very easy to reach walking. The owner Mr Calogero and his family are very kind and Caloger is the best pizza chef in Selinunte! Thank you so much to Calogero and his Family. My vacation has been wonderful!

Positives: Beach, staff, sells nice croissants (cornetti) and bread (pane) for break fast, sun shades over the tent places. Negatives: Warm shower is paid only, no supermarket in walking distance, sanitation not very clean, car has to be parked on the parking not next the tent. Price: 30€ per night for 2 people, one small tent and one car.

The owner and his son were very friendly and helpful, contrary to what some other rewies said. He even gave us a Sicily Camping Tour Card and some recommendations on good camping spots. We would highly recommend Helios Camping to everyone and are looking forward to our next stay here! Grazie e a presto!
