★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best pane cunzato in Ortigia artisanal way. This supermarket has the plus to prepare panini in a traditional manner not only for tourists but also for locals. Highly recommended.

Only comment would be.
As a manager of a store, in one of the high frequented touristic area.
2.5 x price ... is a very reasonable way of selling... even in a "Poshy" area.
But the prices compared to any other "basic supermarket" is more about a 3x , 3.5 x OR EVEN MORE ?
( We talk about the BASIC products, what u can get ANYWHERE )
This case not recommended for solo travellers, to cover a full stay shopping.
Otherwise...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little local market is fantastic, great deli section and their panini’s are amazing! Must try the roasted vegetable one & the beef one which they cook on the spot, out of this world! And they are super friendly .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent market with top quality food. If you are a low budget tourist you must afford the toogoodtogo surprise box to at least taste some of the ready to go meals and other little things they will bring you for a few euros. Friendly people and nice environment.
