Ottimi prodotti della tradizione locale e grazioso giardino dove mangiare ciò che si è acquistato e rilassarsi un pochino prima di riprendere il viaggio. Sarà sicuramente una delle tappe ogni qualvolta mi recherò in questa zona. Leaving the motorway at Candela you come across this small wonder, excellent sandwiches served by really nice young ladies. Excellent local traditional products and a lovely garden where you can eat what you have bought and relax a little before resuming your journey. It will surely be one of the stops whenever I travel to this area.

Peccato per questo particolare, perché per il resto è un magnifico posticino rustico, che rispetta le normative sul covid e che serve delle delizie tipiche del territorio. Non solo spuntini: è anche un ortofrutta abbastanza assortito. Il personale è gentile, l’atmosfera molto naturale, piena di piante. The only star less is for the flies. Flies everywhere. Non solo lo abbiamo trovato ma abbiamo scoperto un piccolo angolo felice, una casetta deliziosamente addobbata di leccornie. Salumi e formaggi deliziosi (il piattino tipico va provato con salumi formaggi e verdurine e varie) panini creativi come quello che abbiamo assaggiato, l’olivastro, (cipolle mitiche!!!)… ci siamo fermati a mangiare fuori, su tavoli di legno circondati da casse di verdure e piante! Pit stop migliore non potevamo desiderare! A chi mi legge… passateci! Ne vale la pena! Gianna, you are the most pleasant surprise we could have had on the way back from Matera to Rome! We stopped for a sandwich in a genuine place. Not only did we find it but we discovered a happy little corner, a delightfully decorated house with delicacies. Delicious cold cuts and cheeses (the typical plate should be tried with cold cuts, cheeses and vegetables and various) creative sandwiches like the one we tasted, the olive, (mythical onions !!!) ... we stopped to eat outside, on surrounded wooden tables from crates of vegetables and plants! Best pit stop we couldn't have wished for! Who reads me ... pass it! It is worth it!

Prodotti locali alimentari e prodotti di artigianato in creta e ceramica molto belli e vi è anche una zona dove poter acquistare piante.....molto caratteristico Beautiful shop with great attention to detail and with quality products. We purchased a few local delicacies that were quite good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately we had already had lunch or I would have ordered a panini which looked even better! A nice place for a break and to take some photos!
