Si trova nel parco nazionale a pochi km da la paese di Olevano sul Tusciano di cui il santo ne è il protettore. Si può raggiungerla in auto con una strada sterrata dissestata, cementata e con ghiaia fino a quasi sotto la sommità per poi raggiungerla a piedi in salita attraversando dei scalini. All'interno è presente una cappella creata sui ruderi antichi presenti. Temperatura bassa e effetto claustrofobico per chi ne soffre... ma molto di suggestione. Dal suo interno molto ampio si può raggiungere un'altra uscita che da su di uno strapiombo nella parte sud ovest da cui si ha un panorama bellissimo sulla città di Battipaglia dove si intravede il mare. Sono però da attraversarla alcuni cunicoli strettissimi dove per passare bisogna inginocchiarsi. Ovvio percorso non per tutti. Andrebbe sistemata un po' per consentire le viste per il culto. Da visitare assolutamente. Grotto dedicated to the archangel head of the Celestial forces. Inside there is a chapel created on the ancient ruins present. Low temperature and claustrophobic effect for those who suffer from it ... but very suggestive. From its very large interior one can reach another exit that overlooks a precipice in the south-west part from which there is a beautiful view of the city of Battipaglia where the sea can be seen. I sentieri per raggiungere questo luogo sono 2...uno più breve, ma un po' più ripido, l'altro più facile.. entrambi si raccordano sul finale, dove attraverso una salita a gradoni si arriva finalmente alla grotta. L'interno è Molto suggestivo, all'interno si trovano una cappella e dei resti di piccole altre Cappelle. Occhio perché non sempre è facile trovarla aperta, è consigliabile chiamare il contatto presente sulla pagina di Google Honestly I had never heard of this place, which is quite close to where I live. P	Peter Marchionda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono andato il 1 maggio 2022, e dopo più di 2 ore di cammino arrivato all'entrata della grotta l'abbiamo trovato chiusa con un cancello di ferro. Scandalosa la gestione da parte dei responsabili sia a livello comunale che regionale. Sono stati spesi cifre milionarie per mettere in sicurezza l'area, per tenere tutto chiuso. Complimenti. I went there on May 1st 2022, and after more than 2 hours of walking we reached the entrance of the cave and found it closed with an iron gate. The management by the managers at both the municipal and regional level is scandalous. Millions of dollars have been spent to secure the area, to keep everything closed. Well done.
