v'è una rotta un poco impervia.
Vi si giunge presto a piedi
dalla Punta Campanella,
ma ci son tratti scoscesi
che dipartonsi da quella.
Se si giunge in riva al mare
v'è una piaggia tutta roccia,
dove limpida traspare
l'acqua blu, goccia per goccia.
Se è un buon giorno e l'acqua è cheta,
grande calma il core allieta;
ma qualora l'acqua è mossa
nel timor un po' s'affossa
l'alma umana molto fine
ch'assai gode del sublime.
 For the cave of Minerva
there is a slightly inaccessible route.
It can be reached quickly on foot
from Punta Campanella,
but there are steep sections
that depart from that.
If you arrive by the sea
there is a rocky shore,
where clear shines through
the blue water, drop by drop.
If it's a good day and the water is still,
great calm the core cheers;
but where the water is moved

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che posti incredibili. Che il culto di Minerva sia stato praticato in questi luoghi sembra ormai scontato da vari ritrovamenti, ma leggenda e storia qui vanno a braccetto. Sarà la suggestione che sprizza da queste rocce, tra le quali, riecheggia ancora quella campanella che, un tempo, suonava quando si avvistavano i pirati. Spettacolo per scalatori e speologi o semplici amanti del mare.
What incredible places. That the cult of Minerva has been practiced in these places now seems obvious by various findings, but legend and history go hand in hand. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non sapevo che arrivando a punta Campanella si sarebbe potuti scendere fino alla grotta di Minerva...ho seguito un escursionista del luogo e sono sceso prima lungo le scalette e poi lungo la stretta gola che portava, aiutati da corde da rocciatore, fino a livello del mare. Arrivato sugli scogli, attraverso un' apertura circolare sono entrato nella grotta, all'interno della quale si aprono due finestre naturali sul mare con una vista incantevole. Nonostante la difficoltà della discesa e della risalita ne vale sicuramente la pena.
I did not know that arriving at Punta Campanella it would have been possible to descend to the cave of Minerva ... I followed a local hiker and I first went down the stairs and then along the narrow gorge that led, aided by climbing ropes, to level of the sea. Arrived on the rocks, through a circular opening I entered the cave, inside which two natural windows open onto the sea with an enchanting view. Despite the difficulty of the descent and ascent it is certainly worth it.
