Si trova nella parte compresa tra l’abitato di Torre del Mare e il Comune di Bergeggi, in un’area dove si alternano un ampio numero di promontori rocciosi. E’ una cavità carsica di circa 200 milioni di anni fa, che è stata abitata sin dai tempi remoti (motivo per cui sono stati trovati al suo interno un alto numero di reperti archeologici).

This is the best known sea cave in Liguria. It is located in the part between the town of Torre del Mare and the Municipality of Bergeggi, in an area where a large number of rocky promontories alternate. It is a karst cavity of about 200 million years ago, which has been inhabited since ancient times (which is why a large number of archaeological finds have been found inside).
