★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È la più grande delle frazioni del comune di Bagno a Ripoli. Il centro molto affollato non offre nulla di interessante a parte la Chiesa, ma è ben fornito di negozi. Drammatica la mancanza di parcheggi. Nelle ore di punta soffre per il traffico dei pendolari che potrebbe diminuire fra qualche anno, quando e SE, sarà realizzata la variante. È attraversato dal fiume Ema, in condizioni igieniche ed estetiche deplorevoli, a causa degli scarichi che lo rendono una fogna, mentre invece potrebbe abbellire la zona se avesse regolazione e manutenzione adeguate. Meglio se con un progetto architettonico specifico in armonia con edifici e giardini. Bellissimi i dintorni collinari con ville e fattorie, antiche e moderne. In aumento gli edifici industriali e commerciali. Migliorabili i servizi, del tutto insufficiente il trasporto pubblico.
 It is the largest of the hamlets in the municipality of Bagno a Ripoli. The busy center offers nothing of interest apart from the Church, but it is well stocked with shops. The lack of parking spaces is dramatic. During peak hours it suffers from commuter traffic which could decrease in a few years, when and SE, the variant will be implemented. It is crossed by the Ema River, in deplorable hygienic and aesthetic conditions, due to the drains that make it a sewer, while it could beautify the area if it had adequate regulation and maintenance. Better if with a specific architectural project in harmony with buildings and gardens. The hilly surroundings with villas and farms, ancient and modern, are beautiful. Industrial and commercial buildings are on the rise. Services could be improved, public transport totally insufficient.
