Grand Hotel Majestic

We had a standard room on the first floor, which was facing the road. It wasn't loud but a bit dark. The room was for disabled. We had the feeling, that our room was used as a storage room before, since we had two TV (one broken) and two extra chairs. Furthermore, the shower had products from the previous guests, which were not cleaned.Also the shower curtain was too long and dirty. The facilities are nice. The location next to the lake is supreme. The staff was friendly and attentative. The breakfast was ok, but it could be improved. It is questionable that you have to pay for egg dishes. The value for money could be better.

Nice hotel. You can walk from the swimming pool into the garden that has an awesome view of the lake. Facilities, food and staff were all excellent. A minor drawback was that the pool seems to contain a fair amount of chlorine. I would highly recommend the massage. I included a picture of a wedding that was kept in the garden while we were sunbathing :)

Beautiful building conveniently located, comfortable room and facilities with yummy breakfast and lovely spa lady. Upgrade to deluxe room was appreciated with nice view and discount on spa treatment. It felt opulent to stay there, lovely grounds and friendly staff. They accommodated our desir to extend our stay by another night despite the room being allocated. This was a very special 20th wedding anniversary break for my husband and I. Most top end hotels would have acknowledged this and made a small gesture to say congratulations eg flowers or fruit in the room, or a bottle of something. We got nothing. Bottled water was charged in the bedroom via the minibar charges. For the price of the room they could have provided it complimentary.

The location is simply superb, the staff wonderful - especially Christian, who is in charge of the terrace bar. His customer service skills are on par (if not better) than of someone in his role in a 5* prime location. The room (you can only book a room with full lake view directly at the hotel) was lovely. I saw some reviews here complaining about the room standard - for Italy and this area in particular, the standard is not as high as other locations you might have traveled to. So it’s a solid 4* for the location. The indoor pool is lovely and so is the terrace lawn, with its direct access to the lake. Breakfast was amazing too and the breakfast room has breathtaking views as well, so you start every day with a wonderful outlook.

Fantastic experience overall. The garden area next to the lake is a piece of heaven. Play tennis and have a swim afterwards. If you are lucky enough to afford such a hotel, pay up for the lake view, its worth it. Food divine, fried fish, rabbit ravioli and creme brulee out of this world. Service sometimes seems a bit chaotic (it‘s Italy!) but always with gusto and heart. Recommended.

very child unfriendly - swimming in the pool at 11:30 in the morning with my kids, when the manager ask us to be quiet, because some other guest being massaged wanted his/her silence? (no screaming, no jumping, no nothing) other than that nothing to complain - nice hotel, superb location, but that does not count anymore once they let you feel you are too much for them as a family

We had our wedding at Grand Hotel Majestic and it was incredible! The first time I spoke with Massimo (events manager) from Grand Hotel Majestic was when we were on the lookout for the wedding venues near the lakes regions in the North of Italy. This was November 2020 and despite being in the middle of the 2nd COVID wave, he was very quick at replying and providing all the information required. Before making a decision on the venue, we had a video call with Massimo to view the venue virtually. Despite the video quality being pretty poor due to Internet problems, the moment we saw the location and the view of the lake, we were stunned and decided pretty quickly we wanted to have our wedding at Grand Hotel Majestic. Throughout the whole time of 9 months of pre-wedding prep, up to the very last week, Massimo was there to answer any questions, clarify on any concerns and find options and solutions for all kinds of situations. The bit that I think is not advertised enough on the sites and reviews about weddings at Grand Hotel Majestic is the length that the team goes to in order to tailor the event specifically for the couple. I have definitely come up with lots of random requests and Massimo somehow managed to support pretty much all of them (within reason of course): starting from customisable dinner menu, to set up of the ceremony, to storing peaches for the dinner, to setting up dinner tables in a way that makes all the guests feel included, to last minute changes in table seating plan, to re-creating the cake from a picture I've sent (and finding fragoline di bosco despite it not being in season), adding our favourite gelato - it was all incredible and very appreciated by me and my now-husband. :) From the moment we arrived, it felt like every detail was thought through - I wanted to thank Grand Hotel Majestic that my parents were placed on the same floor as us in the hotel - not sure if intentional or lucky. :) Our couple's room (junior suite with view of the lake) was literally the best hotel room we have ever stayed at! The almost 360 view of the lake is incredible! During the wedding day itself, me and my partner truly felt like we were being treated like king and queen, which is I suppose exactly how it should be. :) All members of the hotel staff were super welcoming and accommodating. The day was full of so much love and so much special attention - we can't thank Grand Hotel Majestic, Massimo (events manager) and the staff enough for all the effort. And all of this happened despite constant COVID changes! Our wedding day was more beautiful and more perfect than we ever wished for or dreamed of! Thank you!!! PS If you are scouting for a wedding venue near Italian lakes, choose Grand Hotel Majestic - you won't regret it!

Wonderful view and engaged personell, very friendly and all wishes were granted. Very good food at the restaurant and a good choice of alcohol at the bar. Great E-Bikes for rent and good prices. We will definitely come back. For a 5-Star-Hotel it misses a little bit of love for detail. But we knew before that it’s a 4-Star-Hotel - so all good!
