GRAFFITI HAIR SALON

I am studying abroad in Florence and I wanted to get a hair cut with layers. My friend recommended this place to me. I had such an amazing experience at Graffiti hair salon. They did such an amazing job!

Best place to do your hair in Florence. The staff is super kind, always open to listen to you and give you the best recommendations for your hair. I dyed my hair and turned out really nice. 100% would go again.

Absolutely awful. I put my trust in all the positive reviews and went for a colour service for my grown out silver blonde hair. I explained a few times what I wanted (a natural looking soft balayage to blend the grown out dark roots with the blonde ends) but the stylist insisted it’s not possible (?!) and suggested highlights. I was not convinced but made the mistake of trusting the suggestion, when I should have walked out because he clearly did not understand what I was asking or knew what he was doing. Despite me saying many times I don’t want too many highlights, he gave me a full head of these ugly stripey highlights. You can zoom in the photo and see how artificial and badly done they look at the roots. When I saw the result I panicked and begged him to at least put some colour on the face framing strands(root melt) because they looked terrible with such a harsh line of blonde/black and did not go with my skin tone at all. I was not convinced by the rest of the hair either but it was already salon closing time (5-6 hours in the chair), and he kept insisting how great it looked. I couldn’t also see the proper end result in the evening light. I was shocked when I saw the result in daylight the next day and deeply regretted paying over 200 Euros to them for making me look like a damn zebra!! However it was too late because I had to leave the city the next day. I immediately had to get my hair corrected and roots dyed over again because I was so embarrassed to walk like this in public. The toner also washed off within two weeks and turned my silver to a blonde. I beg people to do more research and if the stylist seems iffy or has a no-can-do attitude just get up and walk away. Do NOT take the risk of someone playing with your hair and taking your hard earned money. I know for a fact that silver balayage is absolutely possible on dark black hair because I had a full head of it done last year elsewhere. I did not even ask Graffiti salon for that level of lightening, I just wanted my growth blended with the roots and a natural look. Worst decision ever. I would not recommend to anyone!

Totally would recommend going there if you want your hair to look perfect!! My hair was broken and the bleach grew out so it was about time for me to have a change. I don’t have good experiences with hairdresser especially when it comes to bleaching but this time I felt comfortable and in safe hands. They really took their time to understand my wishes and make them come true. Never had anyone taking that good care of my hair.

I had the most wonderful experience at graffiti salon with Angelo! I was able to make the appointment easily over WhatsApp for the next day which was great. Angelo understood exactly what I wanted my hair to look like and it looks amazing. Definitely go to him if you’re looking for a good cut!

Angelo and his team are simply the best!!! I leave with exactly what I want every time and they are particularly skilled at tailoring the details of what you want so your cut/color suits your specific skin tone and facial structure. He really cares about the quality of his work and takes his time to fully understand what you want, whilst being honest about the adjustments he would make along the way to give you the best result. Would not recommend anyone else!!

I have very curly hair and typically get special curly cuts (cut dry and curly-by-curl), but I didn’t have time to deal with finding a designated curly hair studio. Even so, Angelo is obviously very capable and very patiently managed to cut my curly hair without issue. We communicated just fine in English for a basic cut. Angelo even helped me with my Italian! The result is very good, and the price was fair. I’ll certainly go back.
