β β β β β This is a spot for DJs. Decent selection of vinyl, most of which is 5β¬. Most of what you'll find is house, techno, and what appears to be various DJ collections (this is an assumption due to the mix of promo 12" records, some of which have the wear of working DJs). The categorized records are in order. Lots of gear is available, everything you'd need, plus a few listening stations which shows this is a spot for real DJs. If you're into house and techno, set aside time making sure you're not bumping into their closing hours in the middle of the day (like I did).

β β β β β Bought a LP that GOODY pressed/released - it was defective (song on 12" didnt match the song title on lable). Contacted them, they told me they were aware of the defect but had no intention of refunding/replacing the record - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

If, visiting Rome, you feel compelled as a touristic duty to see the Coliseum, as a DJ or music and Vinyl lover feel as compelled to visit Goody Music. Located in the center, few steps from Piazzale Flaminio for many many years has always been a classic hault for dance music aficionados, owned, directed and managed by one of the original Italo Disco Daddies (I would say GranDaddies, but not sure how would it be taken!!! ?) : Claudio Donato, charming, witty and when in a good mood, a pleasure to be with. The shop is large and offer a huge selection of vinyl, new and old, lots of Disco reissues and a good selection of DJ equipment like Headphones, monitors etc. Staff is very friendly and available to listen to your request and help you at the best of their abilities.

β β β β β My first vinyl shop in my life. Always on top of my list of great places in Rome where to spend some time looking for good records. The music styles vary from electronic to house and disco classics/contemporary and even a selection of other genres like rock, hip-hop and more underground styles (vapor, dreampunk etc). Also some second hand options and friendly staff!
