Our wedding in Pienza was magical and it couldn't have happened without our wedding planner Ilaria from Glam Events! A year before our wedding, we reached out to many wedding planners in Tuscany and Ilaria stood out at the onset as being the most enthusiastic, heart-warming, and flexible than the rest. As we were based outside of Italy, Ilaria was the essential link to make sure things could be done the way we had imagined, while being considerate of our budget. She was always available for skype calls and open to our ideas! During our the wedding weekend (where we had a Thai wedding on Friday, and a 'western' non-religious wedding on Saturday), Ilaria was extremely competent and professional. She worked with the vendors and our bridal party to make sure things were set up as perfectly as possible. Because of this, we were so relaxed the entire weekend and could spend it with our family and friends without having to worry about any of the organizational aspects. Many of our friends commented that we had a "hollywood wedding", and we definitely have Ilaria to thank for this! Ilaria - Thank you so much for everything!!

Glam Events was the absolute best purchase we made for our wedding. Lara and her team are incredibly talented, helpful and inspired. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid-19 and Lara helped us navigate all the difficulties of postponement and then having a wedding during a global pandemic - everything from vendor and travel management, to securing on-site covid tests for our guests. On top of the logistics and organization, our wedding was stunning. The Glam Events team has the experience and inspiration to create a unique and beautiful experience for all types of couples and guests. On the day of the wedding, we were able to just sit back and enjoy without a stress in the world. I truly cannot recommend Glam Events enough - you will not regret it.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! We couldn't be happier how our wedding turned out and it would not have been possible without the help of Lara and Glam Events! We live in Hong Kong and got married in Tuscany. We did some groundwork and made an advance trip to Italy (approx 7 months before the wedding) to scout for venues and catering for tasting, two of our top priorities on our list. With venue and catering checked off, we started to look for wedding planners online back in Hong Kong. I still remember very clearly the very first conversation I had with Lara over a long distance call, I was completely sold by her positive attitude and how comfortable it was to have an initial conversation with her. She made me felt so secure when we only had 6 months to plan the wedding remotely from another country. We immediately knew she was the right planner for us. Of course, Lara and Glam Events did not disappoint. Throughout the planning process, Lara was very patient and professional, always available, gave us a lot of feedback on our ideas, followed up on every detail we had requested, and made sure that we were on track with timeline. Most importantly, she took a lot of the stress off of our shoulders (crucial for future bride & groom) and made the wedding process incredibly pleasant. She also helped us to organize a series of events for us to host before and after the wedding day. Her recommendations and organization skills are impeccable!! Finally, on the day of our wedding, it was a dream. A dream that we will never forget. We felt like we were the most relaxed couple (while our bridesmaids and groomsmen were panicking) and everything just fell into place smoothly throughout the day. Lara made it all seem like it was so easy for us! Our guests were also very impressed with her professionalism on the day of our wedding and she took care of every little detail until late at night. She absolutely made sure it was a day we will never forget. Hands down would recommend Lara and Glam Events over and over again. We can't thank you enough for all the incredible hard work you have done for us to remember for a lifetime. I must start this review by saying that Ilaria and Lara are hands down THE BEST wedding planning team you will find, in Italy and beyond. My husband and I had the most magical wedding, entirely thanks to the talent and experience of Ilaria and Lara. If you are looking to plan a destination wedding in Europe these women have my highest recommendation. We live in D.C., so we knew that finding a fantastic wedding planner to handle the planning and logistics of our Tuscan wedding was going to be crucial. We found Ilaria through our photographer, Facibeni Fotografia’s website. He had shot many of Ilaria’s weddings, and I found the design of each to be so beautiful and unique. From our first Skype call, we knew that Ilaria would be perfectly suited to our personalities and had every confidence that she would do a wonderful job planning our wedding weekend. Throughout the planning process, Ilaria was extremely responsive, organized, creative, positive, and just an absolute joy to work with. She quickly answered every one of my countless emails with enthusiasm, and I was always reassured that she had every detail of our weekend covered. Ilaria presented us with a selection of the most high-end, highly regarded vendors, and I’m so glad that we went with all of her recommendations, because every single one of our vendors provided us with perfection. Ilaria’s experience shined while dealing with the vendors, she clearly has had years of working with these professionals and it was obvious that they had the highest amount of respect for her. She worked tirelessly to ensure that all of the vendors understood our vision and worked to make sure everything was executed to our specifications. We put all of our trust in Ilaria and our vendors and I’m so glad that we did. We knew that the wedding weekend was going to be lovely, and were so excited to have all of our family and friends together in one of our favorite places, but Ilaria and her team exceeded all of our expectations and delivered a weekend that was beyond our wildest dreams. My husband and I had the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend with our family and friends, because we knew Ilaria and Lara had every detail covered. Ilaria and Lara quickly and efficiently dealt with any hiccup during the wedding weekend and made sure that every single guest of our wedding was well taken care of, which we very much appreciated. My wife and I both live in Singapore and Ilaria was the prefect wedding planner for our wedding in Lucca. Without Ilaria's help, the whole organization would have been difficult if not impossible. She was always present, constant attention to detail and reliable in execution. She was critical for the success of the event, we had 200 guests, coming from all over the world and continuously manage changing covid regulations. Ilaria made everything easy, kept us on schedule, and make decision making from abroad a simple and clear process. Having planned the wedding for over a year, it amazingly came out even better than we imagined, all thanks to Ilaria! Highly recommended!

Where do we even begin? We found Glam Events Tuscany I believe by reading through many reviews on websites and blogs and reached out to several wedding coordinators, but knew the minute we spoke with Lara via video chat it was the right fit. We are from NYC and knew absolutely nothing about what we even wanted other than we wanted to have our wedding in Italy. Lara walked us through expectations and gave us many examples of venues, caterers, florists to get us started with our journey. She was able to guide us in the right direction without us even explaining what we wanted, she was just able to read us and get a sense of our style and just knew. During our planning COVID happened and we ended up having to postpone our date over a year out. Lara gave us constant updates and reassured us even when we had doubts that everything would work out. I cannot stress enough how amazing it was to have a coordinator like Lara with her calm and cool attitude during such uncertain times! When we finally were able to have our wedding it was beyond PERFECTION. Every vendor we worked with exceeded our expectations and the service was exceptional. Lara was with us every step of the way and went above and beyond in dealing with all the extra COVID precautions, tricky transportation, crazy wedding guests, possible bad weather, last minute meltdowns the bride (me) had! Again, she always remain cool, calm and collected through it all and was always so professional. Lara was the best decision we made throughout our wedding journey. She executed everything we wanted, was honest with what we needed and didn’t need and above all was such a delightful person to work with. I cannot even begin to put into words how fortunate we were to come across Glam Events and have them plan our Tuscan wedding weekend of events -- they are the absolute best! From our very first video call with Ilaria (we are from Boston), we immediately felt at ease and that she was a perfect fit for us! Our wedding was originally scheduled for September 2020 but the pandemic had other plans and we ended up postponing not once but twice, and finally had our wedding a year after our original date in September 2021. While this could have been a very stressful experience, Ilaria continuously reassured us, provided updates and was incredibly flexible and willing to work with us and vendors to continue to plan the wedding we always envisioned. She made the entire planning process so pleasant and we looked forward to every call we had with her -- now that our wedding is over we genuinely miss getting to speak with her regularly after almost 2 years of calls! From the very beginning (and through both postponed dates) she was able to secure our dream venue and provided us with wonderful curated lists of vendors and options for all of our wedding needs. She worked with all these vendors on our behalf continuously to help arrange plans and bring our visions to life. She was unbelievably patient and generous with her time, always making herself available for calls when we asked (even if she was sometimes on vacation). I cannot stress enough how great it was to work with her over 2 years of distance planning! Even in our most stressful last month of preparations we genuinely felt more at ease after every conversation with her. What can I say about our actual wedding weekend other than that it was absolute perfection. We were fortunate enough to work not only with Ilaria but also with Lara during the week of our wedding lead up + throughout the whole weekend, they were both fantastic! They were amazing coordinating all our events from the wine tastings + welcome dinner the night prior, through the actual wedding day and also on the day after for our pool party. Everything went exactly according to plan and there were no major hiccups or issues, they took absolutely all the planning stress out of our wedding weekend! Not to mention that the events were beautiful and executed even better than we could have ever imagined. We are forever grateful to Ilaria & Lara for this amazing experience and for making sure we had the weekend we always dreamed of even after years of delays! Thank you so much and we miss you already!
