I am reading the 100 books of the century chosen by Le Monde. The shop assistants on various occasions have been patient and kind in finding the books that are a bit special for me. When they weren't there, they ordered them for me right away. I was fine!

La giovane commessa si è fatta bellamente gli affari suoi, senza salutare o chiedere se avessimo bisogno di assistenza. Quando ho poi pagato con gift card e mi ero girata per imbustare l'acquisto, lei si è messa a sventolare platealmente la gift card con fare molto seccato davanti alla mia faccia. Voleva sapere se doveva buttarla via o meno, ma poteva benissimo 1) aspettare un secondo che mi girassi di nuovo, dal momento che non l'avevo proprio vista e 2) imparare pazienza ed educazione.
Avevo sentito dire che la maleducazione era di casa in questo punto vendita e ne ho avuto la conferma.
Fairly stocked bookcase for its size, but the staff are obnoxious and rude.
The young saleswoman went about her business nicely, without saying hello or asking if we needed assistance. When I then paid with a gift card and turned around to pack the purchase, she began to blatantly wave the gift card in a very annoyed manner in front of my face. He wanted to know if he should throw it away or not, but he could very well 1) wait a second for me to turn around again, since I hadn't really seen it and 2) learn patience and education.
I had heard that rudeness was at home in this store and I had confirmation of it.
