Comunque sia il pollo arrosto con il salmoriglio alla sicula è un "must" da provare per chi "passa" da Valverde!

Se acquistate i polli al market, noterete che la carne si stacca dalle ossa con estrema facilità, questo è causato dall'ingrassamento veloce, polletti da allevamenti intensivi dove non spengono mai le luci. Questi sono sodi, la carne è più fitta. Buono tutto il resto e se vi servono bibite ghiacciate le trovate pure.

Top quality spit-roasted chicken and French fries made with fresh potatoes ... Nowhere to be found! Reservations required especially on weekends, otherwise you risk being left with a dry mouth!

Ci si aspetta un "pollo saporito" dopo aver sentito notorie litanie sugli aumenti e aver subito un pagamento di un pollo, €.10, ma poi, al gusto sembra quasi che questo sia passato direttamente dal congelatore al grill senza essere stato insaporito in alcun modo. Forse sarebbero auspicabili meno parole e più erbe aromatiche!
